proactiv
Does proactiv really work and get rid of all or most of your acne? A girl told me it was great for her and her friend, but other people say its junk. I just wanted to know cause I always have acne and i want to know if this stuff really works.

Okay well I've never personally used Proactive, but a friend of mine has and it helped her tremendously. She really feels it was her "miracle". ...Just thought you could use another opinion. (:

I think it really depends on your type of skin. It might work better for some people than it does for others. I used it but then after a while mu skin became used to it and it stopped being effective. you may or may not have the problem.
You should try going to a dermatologist and they would prescribe something for your specific skintype and every so often, if they see it stops working, the doctor will change your presciption.
Although more expensive, prescription drugs work wonders if you have a bad problem. Minor stuff will go away with over the counter medications.

Alot of people already responded but i want to also.
I used proactiv for like i'm gunna say 1-2 years. The first few weeks it worked wonders for me. After that, it seemed as if my skin came acustomed to it and it stopped working.
I quit using it because it didn't really work for me && so now i'm using epiclear. It seems to be working pretty good. I'm still on month two though. But try proactiv, it won't hurt. If that doesn't work after like 2 months or so, try Epiclear. Use it 3 times a day. Wash your skin with a wash rag, NO SOAP! and then use astrigent(sp?) and the you spray it on. it seems to work pretty good so far.

My mom, brother and I all use it. And it's worked really good, I mean I never had bad acne, just a few pimples here and there. But my mom and brother had bad acne and they've used it for 2 or 3 years now and there faces look like they had never had acne. You deffinetly can tell results within a week or so. BUT, just cause it worked for them doesn't mean its going to work for you. My friend's mom used it and she said it didn't work. But maybe she wasn't using it enough or correct. By the way, if you start using it don't stop. Like when you first start using it, it brings alot of your pimples out, but the other cream is to get rid of them and after all your pimples come out and you use the cream to get rid of them your face with be clear!

I've only started usin it for a week and I notice that my acne is startin to get better. It makes my skin less oily and feels much more softer. It might make you break out just a little but if you keep usin it that pimple will just get better and wont come back. If someone you know has used it and it didn't work for them dont think that it wont work for you because my older siblings all used it and it didnt work for them. But it's workin for me. You should really try it! Hope this helps!

I really like proactiv. Sometimes it brings out zits/pimples, but the go away quickly and dont usually come back.
If you dont want to rish that use products by Biore or Neutrogena. I love them lol

I have not personally used it but my friend does. She has really bad acne and she started using it like 1 year now and she still has some. IT does work i guess but it takes a bit long...n yeah you have to keep using it. If I were u start with a facial or something and go by a doctor and use something else. cause the price is relly high!

its WAAYYYYY overpriced. ask your dermatologist, because they can sell you the same thing for like half the price. proactiv was just a succesfful marketing plan. and it didnt work on my mom.

i have proactive and it does really help! But like the person below me said, if u do forget to wash your face or don't for liek a week or even less your acne will come back worse until u start using it again. good luck. I had the worst acne and within a month/2 months it was almost all gone!

I have it and it does help.
But the thing with Proactiv is that you have to keep using it non stop.
If you forget to use it for like a week or even a few days you will get even more acne.
