reach28 answered Saturday January 28 2006, 1:04 am: Scientific studies would say 8-10 hours for a full good night of sleep. I would say, until you feel like getting out of bed :). [ reach28's advice column | Ask reach28 A Question ]
Teza answered Friday January 27 2006, 6:17 pm: Beauty sleep is just like normal sleep but you have to be well rested. 8-10 hours is the right amount of time to teenagers. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]

DancinCutie08 answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 5:41 pm: now are you saying a nap or a night of sleep
teens are supose to get atleast 9.25 hours of sleep night. but can still be fully fuctional with atleast 7
as for a nap to get the best effect you should only nap for 20 mins because if you rest longer than that you end of tired after that.. i watched a whole video on sleeping and naps in school last week and they said that naps should only be 20 min b/c your brain is still getting the rest in needs to feel refreshed but then you arent as tired when you wake up. its called a power nap [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
Raeden answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 12:54 pm: I think the beauty sleep is a custom from the time women wore corsettes (though don't pin me on that one). Because these gave them a hard time breathing they'd grow tired faster and had to take some rest during the day. I doubt that such a period of rest would take longer than two hours tops. A beauty sleep doesn't really make you more beautiful, though it's important for your body, and thus for your looks, to sleep enough. [ Raeden's advice column | Ask Raeden A Question ]
Basketball3846 answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 12:26 pm: Well, your SUPPOSSED to have 8-9 hours of sleep a night if your a teen, and 7-8 if your an adult. but for "beauty" sleep... there really isnt a time. its just what people say when they say there going to sleep.
