threading is where it's at - idk where you are from, and if you can get it done there (only one person below has mentioned it) but it hurts me less than waxing and you get a really nice shape. And its' pretty cheap. Look for it in a beauty salon, its mostly done by indian beauty salons where I'm from.

ok seriously!
I get frustrated with people like you.
not to be mean or anything but does it really matter?
I mean you could go a whole day and only like 3 or 4 people would say you look good. so your just waisting your time! god didnt make you so you can mess up the wounderfull face that only you can have. and why would you want to pluck your eyebrows? it would hurt you and trust me my sister did it she looked uuuuuhgly! does it really matter? be yourself. go to a store with no makeup and all and they will treat you the same just like every good liking people in this world!

I think that waxing is silly. Why pay that money? You'll need to schedule appointments or at least go somewheres and what if you're not able to? You'll have to use tweezers anyways! Plus, a lot of people who get their eyebrows waxed end up with eyebrows that are way too thin, and very unattractive, in my opinion. If you do them yourself you can shape them exactly how you like and no one would ever know you did anything, which is what you want (I would think). People that have bushy eyebrows get noticed and people that have obviously fake eyebrows get noticed. Try to keep them as close to their natural shape as possible. There's not much you can do to make it hurt less when you use tweezers and from what I've heard from friends waxing hurts a lot too. The answer always is "but you get used to it". Why not just get used to something freeee if it's going to hurt anyways? A few tips for tweezing are to put water on your eyebrows beforehand and to put a finger next to the piece of hair that you're trying to take out. That makes it come out faster than just pulling it and it does hurt a lot less. If you pull more than one sometimes that helps too. I've never waxed so I'm sorry that I can't answer those questions. I really recommend tweezers, it's so much easier and much more practical. Whatever you decide, good luck!

I'd recommed waxing or threading. I get mine waxed, and then pluck the stray hairs between my appointments. I hope I helped :)

first go get them waxed nicely. from then on, you can tweeze them. it hurts at first, but nothing you can't handle. your eyes may just water the first few times, then it will stop hurting. just follow along to how they were waxed and if they get out of control, go get them waxed again. if you don't like exactly how they waxed them you can always edit them yourself at home. just be careful! but they usually ask you what you want and what you think when they are done when you get them waxed.

don't be afraid!

Plucking. Oh my gosh everyone below me is like it hurts so bad to pull them out one by one. First of all you dont pull them out one by one, you pull a few at a time. Second, you get used to it and it barely hurts. Third, you dont have to wait for them to get hairy to get them done again. You can pluck whatever is growning back so they are ALWAYS pretty. If you need and more help then just leave one in my inbox.

Waxing your eyebrows is way easier then plucking. Plucking just takes so long & i think it's more painful. Honestly, when i first got my eyebrows done, i swear i almost got teary eyes. But that's only because i have sensitive skin around my eyebrows. Now it's been like a year and i still get them done. And it doesn't even hurt anymore. Waxing does hurt, but trust me, it's sooo worth it. =) Just get them done. =P

Karen answered Tuesday January 17 2006, 9:12 pm:
You should get them waxed, to shape them so you'll know where to tweeze. Waxing doesn't hurt and it's less painful than tweezing. When you're tweezing your eyebrows, use a damp face cloth and rub it over the area around your eyebrows to make them easier to tweeze them. You can always stick with waxing if you don't want to do it yourself.

emster812 answered Tuesday January 17 2006, 8:49 pm:
Waxing is different for girls on the hurt scale. Soem girls have more sesitive of skin than other girls, therefore it hurts more. For some girls it doesn't hurt at all, actually.
Plucking hurts much more than waxing. Having to pluck one by one hurts. (TIP: If you follow along with the plucking plan though, numb the place you want to pluck with ice to help with the pain.)
Hope things turn out (<~:*spectacular*:~>) !!! e

Get them waxed because
1: the hairs grow back more fine and not more hairy
2: It only hurts for literally one second, and then it's done. With plucking, it hurts over and over again until you pluck ALL the hairs.
It hurts like when you get your ears pierced except less painful. I get my eyebrows waxed every once in a while and it looks so awesome.

i get mine waxed...it hurts for a tiny second then it's fine. it's better then tweezing because it only hurts for a second, unlike tweezing you need to pull out each individual hair, so it hurts over & over. anyways, have them waxed, then a few times a week you can pluck the ones that start to grow back to keep them clean. this works for me! hope i helped.
