advice
when my old boyfriend used to finger me (we were both virgins) sometimes he would remove his hand and his fingers would be covered in really dark brown red, it almost looked like blood from my period, but it would be nowhere near the start or finish of my period. Do you know what caused this? Should i be worried?

I would have expected it to be red, but blood can be all kinds of shades I guess. Sometimes very dark brown blood can be the remains of a previous period, but there wouldn't be a lot of this, it would be much thicker than fresh blood, and also wouldn't necessarily only come out during foreplay/sex. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.
On another note - I always discreetly check that his fingernails aren't sharp and that he hasn't got any calluses on his fingers e.g. from playing guitar (ouch!)

Is O.K. if I have a medium/light flow and I use a super tampon to last me all day? From say 7:00 in the morning to about 9:00 at night? I've been forced to do this before and the whole thing wasn't even soaked yet...

Never leave a tampon in for more than 8 hours or you risk Toxic Shock Syndrome. Also, if you take a tampon out after about 6 or more hours and it still has white showing, you are using too high an absorbency... it'll dry out your vagina :(

In my opinion, myspace is beginning to fall apart - do you keep getting bulletins from accounts that have been hacked, profiles that take hours to load, error messages, service unavailable etc. I'm finding it pretty annoying, and so I'm using facebook much more than myspace. Facebook doesn't seem to have problems like that. Also all my friends are on it now.

I suggest you use gnoosic, at http://www.gnoosic.com. You tell it what music you like and it suggests similar things. It might work for what you want. This is what it says "Gnod is kind of a search engine for music you don't know about. It will ask you what music you like and then think about what you might like too."

When I first had sex, it didn't hurt me very much at all. I think either your hymen was already broken e.g. if you're having sex then I guess you've previously been fingered. (also everyone's hymen's are different, some people's are much less 'solid' than others!). Secondly, I don't think it hurt me very much because I was very relaxed and enjoying it all :) Don't worry about it.

Pam is an old name. Amy is the best name ever - it has the first, last and approxiamtely middle letter of the alphabet in it. It just looks cool written on paper too, it's all spiky. Pam's all round and padded and cushiony... it makes me think of my grandma.

My boyfriend and I went on a daytrip the other day. It was a state thing so there was a lot of peolpe there. We were all in the parking lot ready to board this bus. We got talking to an older couple(60's-70's because they had gone the previous year. We talked about the cruise and where we went to school. We told him that we go to a catholic school. He said "Oh really? Then maybe you would like to have these." he pulled out 2 oval charms. They had what looked like Mary on them. There was also this saying around her, "regina sine labe originali concepta" what does that mean?

how do you take a tampon out?
If you're pulling and it doen't seem to be coming out, try changing your body position to change the angle of your vagina - e.g. put one foot up on the toilet seat, or crouch down, or arch your back or something. Just see what works for you. Take a deep breath and pull. Once it has started moving it gets easier, starting it moving is the most difficult bit.

When I had it I was nauseous for a day, with a stomach ache which got worse and moved down and to the right after about 6 hours - ended up on the right of my abdomen. I had an operation to remove my appendix the next day under general anaesthetic, which took less than an hour I think. Afterwards I was in a lot of pain, but the painkillers soon began to work and I felt better. I spent 3 days in hospital. I started eating 1 day after the operation. I went back to school about 2 weeks later, and I wasn't allowed to do sports for 6 weeks. My scar is now 1 and a half inches long, I guess it has grown with me though, I was only 7, now I'm 19! That's all I can remember...

I would say in person is better, as I broke up with my boyfriend over the phone and after that night I never saw him again - this was a year ago. We just said goodbye on the phone, and that was the end. Kinda sad. I think if perhaps we had actually talked to each other face to face, we might have felt more comfortable about still hanging out with each other.

Be careful - the words on the site given below are not entirely correct:
- in British English, we spell it argument too, not arguement.
- I have never spelt bank as banque, but this may be a different meaning.
- 'cheque' is the way of paying for something, otherwise the word is 'check', as in 'to check the answers'.
- when talking about a computer program, we tend to spell it the American way, it's only programme when talking about a TV show, or the booklet you get at the theatre when you go to see a play
- 'tyre' is the thing on a wheel of a car, otherwise the word is 'tire', as in 'to tire someone out'
- the past tense form of 'to light' is 'lit', just like in American English. We use 'lighted' when it is adjectival, e.g. the 'a lighted candle'.

Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies of all time. *stop reading if you don't want any spoilers, but considering it's 12 years old I think I'm on the safe side* Anyway... at the end Jenny dies, presumably of AIDS. It seems like the symptoms point to it. That said, wouldn't that mean that Forrest and Forrest Jr. end up dying? The end does not imply that at all but that's the only thing that makes any sense. If she had AIDS and then gave birth, she passed it onto Junior. Having sex with Forrest to conceive Junior would have passed it on as well.

I haven't seen the film so I don't know if my suggestions apply in the story, but there are many ways to prevent HIV being passed from mother to child. There are various drugs that can be taken during pregnancy and labour, and given to the baby once it is born. Also, measures are taking to prevent the child being exposed to the mother's blood, e.g. avoiding amnioscentesis (sampling of the fluid in the womb using a needle), and having an early cesarean delivery, before labour starts (as during vaginal delivery bleeding can occur e.g. if the mother tears, or if forceps have to be used). Breastfeeding can also transmit the virus, so this is to be avoided in most circumstances. Even if no preventative action is taken, the baby will not automatically get AIDS - the chance that the virus will be transmitted is 35%.

I am a girl and was wondering if any other girls have the same thing that I have. Well this is going to sound really gross, but here goes. I have hair growing inside of my butt cheeks, right near my anus. It's not just fine hair either, it's dark and course, like the same type of hair that I have growing on my vagina. I goes all the way up my butt cheeks. It's so embarrassing! I also have dark hairs growing on my breasts, right around my nipples. My question is: is this normal? And if it's not, what can I do to get rid of it? It's too hard to shave down there. I would appreciate any advice!!
I have this too, and I hate it. I'm afraid I can't tell you why it happens, but I think it's probably to do with ethnic origin, I have meditteranean and middle eastern origins. All my white friends are like "ugh, can you imagine having a hairy butt?", and I just stay quiet, I thought no on else had the same problem. I shave my butt cheeks, even though it's difficult - you need a mirror and patience. You could try getting it waxed. As for the hair on my breasts, I pluck them out with tweezers - depends what your pain threshold is like. Good luck!
