I am a girl and was wondering if any other girls have the same thing that I have. Well this is going to sound really gross, but here goes. I have hair growing inside of my butt cheeks, right near my anus. It's not just fine hair either, it's dark and course, like the same type of hair that I have growing on my vagina. I goes all the way up my butt cheeks. It's so embarrassing! I also have dark hairs growing on my breasts, right around my nipples. My question is: is this normal? And if it's not, what can I do to get rid of it? It's too hard to shave down there. I would appreciate any advice!!
ThugGirl041790 answered Tuesday January 31 2006, 6:55 pm: Yes this is normal.. Some females have dark thick hair and some have light thin hair.. But if you want to get rid of this i woudl suggest shaving or waxing.. Waxing is defiantly going to be more painful then shaving tho.. But you`d have to do it less often then shaving.. You`d probably have to shave pretty often if you decide to do that.. and the nipples hair i would just leave it alone unless its very embarassing and noticeable.. ♥Dez [ ThugGirl041790's advice column | Ask ThugGirl041790 A Question ]
orphans answered Tuesday January 31 2006, 3:39 pm: Yes your suppose to have hair there.
As for your nipples, if you have ALOT (like 10 o more) it could be polycyrstic ovary syndrome, and its treatable. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

sizzlinmandolin answered Tuesday January 31 2006, 11:55 am: I think that it's quite normal. Lots of people have it, but they're too embarassed to admit it. When somebody makes a wisecrack about hairy butts probably at least half of the people that laugh are cringing inside just like you. Everyone has hair in those places. Thin blonde hair just wouldn't be noticeable. It's really not as bad as you think it is. It's not terribly noticeable and there's no reason to get rid of it. Who's going to see it anyways? If you have a boyfriend (or girlfriend?) they'd be really immature to say anything about it especially since they probably have it too. If you really want to though you can shave, you'll get the hang of it. Try using a hand held mirror so that you can see better. You could get it waxed, but I think that would be a waste of money. Things like nair wouldn't work well. Again, it's very normal so don't worry. I hope I helped you and good luck! [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
TheOldOne answered Tuesday January 31 2006, 8:35 am: It's not uncommon. I suspect that beauty salons and hair-removal places have some way of dealing with it, but I'll leave that to someone else to answer since I don't really know.
pequenoalmoco answered Tuesday January 31 2006, 7:12 am: I have this too, and I hate it. I'm afraid I can't tell you why it happens, but I think it's probably to do with ethnic origin, I have meditteranean and middle eastern origins. All my white friends are like "ugh, can you imagine having a hairy butt?", and I just stay quiet, I thought no on else had the same problem. I shave my butt cheeks, even though it's difficult - you need a mirror and patience. You could try getting it waxed. As for the hair on my breasts, I pluck them out with tweezers - depends what your pain threshold is like. Good luck! [ pequenoalmoco's advice column | Ask pequenoalmoco A Question ]
