myspace vs facebook
do you guys prefer myspace or facebook better. I have a myspace, but I always hear people talking about facebook, but i think its stupid to be addicted to 2 websites you know (not litterally addicted, but have to login everyday)
so my question is do you guys prefer myspace or facebook? (I'd appreciate it if people tried both) and why do you prefer myspace or facebook?

This is only my opinion, on both of them.
I really like both Myspace and Facebook.
I like Myspace because just about all of my friends are on there, and they come on it more often. Where on Facebook, it's not as popular so not many of my friends are on there, and the ones who are, do not come on often. On Myspace, you can chose from lots of layouts, and on Facebook, you can't really customize it much. It's kind of boring, as far the look of it. But you could say the same about Myspace as well. The only difference is with your profile on Myspace, you can customize it to look however you want.
So in my opinion, I think Myspace is better.

It depends.
I have both ad i HATE facebook.But that is because nobody in my school really has one anda few people outside my school do but its still not as much popular yet so i only have a few friends and only like 3 people that leave comments. On facbook you can add as many pictures as you want and there is section where you write about youraelf and your music and everythint but you cant comstomize it to be your own. I only sign in mine like twice a week but ita okay to have for people who dont have myspaces because you can keep in touch. But i guess if you had a lot of frieds that already have one and you get comments and there funny pictures of all of you on therei t would be pretty fun. but i dont prefer it.
I LOVE myspace because there are so many things you can do it with it. Change your profile around add bacrkrounds. And now you can have pages of pictures. So i deffinatly prefer myspace.

I like them both for different reasons.
Facebook is good because a lot of people use it. Its safer. Your profile is private unless someone adds you and you accept. You do however have to give your full name. But, you can add as many pictures as you want, which is why people like it better. Personally, for me, its way confusing! Its hard to figure out how to comment people and everything. I think its funner to use facebook in college - what its orginial use was. Also, you cant decorate facebook.
Myspace is good because its fun. You can decorate it and people use it more for their own website. Sure, theres limited amount of pictures but its easier to browse through profiles on myspace without having to add people. On facebook, everyones private that doesnt go to your school. Myspace is more creative (aka people put up emo pictures, artsy pictures) and cover their page with HTML. Facebook is like, pictures of parties (unedited) with a beer in your hand surrounded by your friend. AKA Why I dont really like it.

I lovvvve facebook! I'm like addicted to it! Because you can have photoalbums and its much safer. Its not as slow as myspace. You can search for people based on intrsents. It tell you when people are going out or break up. I think facebook is amazing.

I'll start of saying that I have one of each. I had the myspace first but then I made myself a facebook when I learned that it was finally open to High School students.
I agree with the user who said that myspace is starting to fall apart. Accounts are being hacked and there are many errors. Tom (the creator) made a very popular site. I still log in just about every day. I enjoy sending and receiving comments and messages. I enjoy posting bulletins too (at least when I'm bored).
For me, myspace is more of a boredom site. I tend to do what I do on myspace due to extreme boredom. When I'm on facebook it's because I want to see what's going on. The only negative parts of facebook in my opinion are that not as many high school kids know about it yet because it was originally for college students/graduates only.
Other aspects of facebook I find negative I also find positive for their safety featurs - they're just annoying for people on the site. Such as having to be invited before making an account (at least for high schoolers) Not being able to see the facebook of those not on your friends list (or not in your network). That's a good thing, but it's also annoying. I'd rather that be a myspace type of thing where you can choose if you want it shown or not.
I love my myspace, but I'm starting to get tired of the glitches and other annoyances. Tom is doing is best to keep it a popular site, but sometimes websites are just fads. It may get super popular sometime down the road, but it's starting to lose its popularity. I enjoy my facebook although I don't use it as much. Facebook is the type of site where you don't have to go on everyday to see what's going on with people. I'm sure if it becomes more popular that won't be the case, but for now it is.
I suppose what I'm trying to say is that I prefer Facebook but I use my myspace more. Kind of contradicting I suppose, but it's true.

In my opinion, myspace is beginning to fall apart - do you keep getting bulletins from accounts that have been hacked, profiles that take hours to load, error messages, service unavailable etc. I'm finding it pretty annoying, and so I'm using facebook much more than myspace. Facebook doesn't seem to have problems like that. Also all my friends are on it now.

Facebook isnt as active as myspace. I have one of both. Myspace is like an everybody thing. Facebook kind of separates you into cliques. It what school you wnet to and what colleges. It kind of gets annoying because it tells you what everyone on your friends list is doing. When they update, change pics, add a friend, join groups post anything to anyone else. BUT you really dont have to sign in everyday though.
