Say, " I'm so sorry, but I don't feel all that well right now. Maybe later. " or something like that. Hope this helped.

I personally use this line which isnt mean
"Well I'm sort of going to just go with my friends and I could just see you there."

Just say "Thanks, but, I just want to have fun with friends at Homecoming and not be tied down or anything. Sorry about that and hope to see you there!"

Don't say this in front of your/his friends or he'll feel embarrassed. And dance a number with the poor boy on your special night so he can enjoy himself too.

Erinn_the_bamf answered Saturday September 17 2005, 6:08 pm:
You just tell him you would rather be friends. There is no easy way but this is the best. You cna say you can't go but that means if he sees you that he'll probabley talk about you.

sbloemeke answered Saturday September 17 2005, 5:18 pm:
From many, many rejections I've had to face (7... :( ), I can say that the nicest way is to say "I'm sorry, but...", and add a nice little excuse like "I am going with some of my friends" or "I want to enjoy this dance alone".
Hope this helps!
