MELiixMARiiE answered Friday September 2 2005, 6:48 pm: It's just because Hurriccan Katrina hit one of the servers, and they couldn't fix it yet. But now they did and it's all good now =D I hope I helped!
MummuM answered Friday September 2 2005, 1:27 pm: It's because one of the servers was hit by Hurricane Katrina. But, we're all fixed and ready to go again :)

x_mystery answered Wednesday August 31 2005, 10:35 pm: The site was down because the server (or server host? I'm not real technical with all this stuff...but the thing that keeps Advicenators online ^.^) was hit hard by Hurricane Katrina, and it took some work to get it back up and running. Then it came back, but the site was so slow it was useless. But now we have our lovely site back, thanks to our wonderful Dangernerd. =) [ x_mystery's advice column | Ask x_mystery A Question ]
Teza answered Wednesday August 31 2005, 10:33 pm: It always says why in the site news and stuff but it was down because of Hurricane Katrina and things with the server got messed up. But glad everything is back! [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
FunnyCide answered Wednesday August 31 2005, 9:51 pm: Well, as you probably know (unless you live in a cave without radio or tv.. but with internet..) there was a hurricane - Katrina. The server for Advicenators is based out of Lousiana. Lousiana took a good hard pounding from Katrina.. devistating. Yes. But no worries.. not for Advicenators anyway. For the south coast - I've heard they're going to have to draw new maps because the geography is literally different.

Draak answered Tuesday August 30 2005, 11:07 pm: Because the server that this site is hosted on is in Louisiana and, if you haven't heard, they are being pounded by a hurricane right now. I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't a reoccuring issue until the storm blows over. [ Draak's advice column | Ask Draak A Question ]
