ear piercing
I'm thinking about getting the top of my ear periced does anyone know how much it hurts? and if it is worth getting it done?

No, it doesnt hurt at all... and when i got it done it was free, but you have to pay for the cost of an earring. I highly suggest starting off with a ball earring, not a hoop, because a hoop will be uncomfortable to sleep in. Once you go through the 2-3 months of the the inital earring in, then go ahead and put different kinds in, but remember to keep a stud or ball in for sleeping, and be careful if you go without wearing one, it closes up faster and hurts to repierce if you do it yourself

well my 14 year old sister got it done..she said it doesnt hurt..she said only when the put the earring in you just feel a little sting..then it itches a little..and i think its worth getting it done..my sis got a rip off though..she got hers done for like 65$..at claires located in the mall..well in jacksonville atleast..well she took hers out and let it close up..ony because she didnt listen to the people and she never cleaned it..around the pearcing you need to clean it like 3 times a day..and you halft to for like 6-12 weeks..so she got the top of the ear inffected and it look nsty..but you no hopefully youll take care of yours unlike she did.

i read once that if you're scared of getting your "top of your ears" (also fondly refered to as cartilage) pierced, take it for a trial run with a stapeler. If the pain is bearable or you don't die of blood loss, then i/d give it an A-Okay.

i got my cartlaged periced and it dient hurt at all and i think its worth getting done but thats up to you :) hope i helped ♥

The "top of your ear" is called your cartilidge. I pierced mine myself, but I do NOT reccomend that. It doesn't hurt too bad. But you won't be able to sleep on that side of your head for about a month. Because when you put pressure on it it hurts.

i have my ear peirced there. everyone told me it was going to hurt. but it didnt hurt a bit! but the only hting you have to worry about is if they hit a blood vesel, then your ear will puff up! but that rarely happens. and it was worth it for me! just dont were any tacky earings, my friends does that, and it looks REALLY bad!

well i got it done and it doesnt hurt at first but it hurts alot to sleep on it and even after having it done for 6 monthes down it still hurts a bit from sleep and what not

Getting your cartilage pierced does not hurt at all, but it does hurt a little bit more than a regular ear piercing would. If you want it done, then it's worth getting it pierced.

oh well its really not that bad it onli hurts for a little bit unless you infect the cartalige and then it hurts my sister had that happen but its pretty uncommon i wouldnt worry to much about it but get it professionally done then there is less chance of infection.

my friend got her cartlige (same thing of top of ear) pierced and she said it didnt hurt at all....she said she's really glad she go it done...hope i helped bi!

ive had my ears pierced two times and it only hurt the first time (kindergarden) a very little like you cant feel it at all and yes it is worth it

yes it does hurt, but only for a couple weeks. If you get it pierced, just make sure that you keep using cotton balls to put ear sanitizing formula on it. (you should get it for free when you get your ears pierced) This will help make it hurt less. But yeah, I think its worth getting it done, because they look really cute, and I'm sure it would look really cute on you too!

i believe your talking about your cartalige, i dont know if i spelled that right haha, but i have mine done and it didnt even hurt, its just like a little pink, its just like getting your ears periced. just count to 10 breathe and think happy thoughts, like maybe a friend.. boyfriend.. a party something you did in the past that made you happy, and in even 7 seconds, it will be done. just remember to stay calm. good luck

yeah it worth having but yeah it does hurt my friend got hers done and she fainted but if you do get it done make sure its by someone that knows what there doing cuz they could hit a vain or something well hope i helped and if you have ne more quistions just drop em in my inbox

It really depends on the person. My cousin got it done and she said it hurt a lot, but a friend of mine got it done and she said it didn't hurt at all. I would do it though, if you want to. I'm planning on getting the top of my ear pierced too, eventually.

It depends on the person. When I got mine done I only felt a burning sensation for 3 seconds then it went away.

If you are talking about the cartelige, then no it does not hurt. Other might disagree, but I do not think it does.
