Everyday, my neck hurts really bad. Sometimes it hurts worst one day, and feels better the next. I've got into this really bad habit of cracking my neck. My neck cracks so loud that my dad was a room away, and he could hear it. I've talked to my doctor but she told me to keep cracking it and stretching it. But I'm not sure if cracking helps or hurts me. Do you think I have arthritis? I'm only 13! Does anyone else have neck/shoulder problems? What can I do about this? (link)

i read once that if you're scared of getting your "top of your ears" (also fondly refered to as cartilage) pierced, take it for a trial run with a stapeler. If the pain is bearable or you don't die of blood loss, then i/d give it an A-Okay.

YEAH! If you don't feel like you can trust your parents, talk to a teacher you like or a best friend or a pastor or someone. If you let people know your situation they'll get help... and it sounds like you need it.

how do i leave a childish love? im going into eigth grade and i still cant go a day without thinking of a boy from my elementry school who i havent seen in over two years. he was in my class every year and we were always little sweethearts but it was sort of that stupid ittle puppy love junk. i know hes moved on - probably forgot about me, and i wish i could do the same. what should i do? ok i have this thing about going back wards i get so scared to. and i a trying out for cheering and i go to gymnastics 2 times a week and my gymnastics trainer tells me that i am good and that i can do my back handpring by my self but i am to scared to. and like it weird like i taught myself how to do one before and i did it wiked good and then i fell on my head and now i am so scare to do anything backwords. and my trainer tells me that it is harder to do an arial then it is to do a bachandspring and i think that it isn't because i am notafrade to do anything front wards can any one help me or tell me a good way to get over my fear? well, me being a girl, i don't have any first hand experience, but i sure do know what girls like!
okay... if you're friends, hang out with her a lot or go places with friends.. get to know her.
then once you can tell she trusts you & stuff then ask her (not over the internet.. its gay) if she wants to go do something.. like watch a movie at your house or go somewhere or something. if she says yes.. then voila!
but remember... courtesy, gentlemanliness (yeahhhh), respect, & don't have your friends do it for you! good relationships with her parents are an added bonus. :)

ahhh ok, basically my boyfriend fingered me and afterwards i noticed he had a ringworm on his arm..jus above his elbow, quite bigg around 5-6cm ish. and im really worried i could get it..i didnt realise it was contagious till i go home and looked it up. i had a longg bath with dettol and my clothes i was wearin are in the wash. do you know anything i could do to prevent me actually getting it/to prevent it showing upp at all or anything i should take etc? plzzzzz help thnx xxx (link)

I'm eighteen years old and a high school graduate. I frequently help babysit my younger cousins (ages 2-12) for free or at a low price, and I am fairly used to the quirks, likes and dislikes, of behavior of my relatives.
A family friend has asked me to babysit their 7 (I think 7) year old son for about eight hours this Thursday (I write this on Sunday). I like the kid and he seems to hero-worship me, so I'm fairly certain I'm going to accept. However, he has a reputation for wild behavior, so I am going in guarded.
My problem is, while I've played with him and helped to babysit him before, I've never been the primary babysitter. While my mother will be home that day, I really want to be as self-sufficient as possible.
So, I was looking for some pointers for babysitting non-family. I'm thinking that I'll start him out on cartoons, since he'll be arriving at my house about seven, and break up the rest of the day with semi-healthy snacks every 2-3 hours, and blocks of toys, drawing, and video games. Movies if I get REALLY desperate.
If you could give me tips, crisis management techniques, and ideas for free or low-cost crafts and games, I would greatly appreciate it. Movie rental suggestions are also welcome, although my budget is very small, and my selection is limited to a single small store. (link)
