My friend is 14 and she has had a job at a local Blimpie`s since maybe April or May [I live in NJ]. <b> Most </b> places start hiring at age 15 though, but next time you are at Wal-Mart to go to Customer Service or ask to speak to a Manager or someone who knows about Employment and qualifications. Some places now even have kiosks [little booths with computers ] where you can sit and fill out an application. sarah0308 answered Monday July 4 2005, 5:18 pm: it depends. like a super walmart you have to be like 21 bcuz they sell alcohol but like just a walmart that doesnt have groceries or anything like that im sure you can be 16. i think that super walmarts hire like people to get the buggies at 16. not sure tho!
