What's the best way to tell a girl how you feel about her? School's over so I can't tell her there. I could get her screen name from one of her friends and tell her over IM but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. Please help. I'm 14 and a guy.

well if a guy told me he liked me over IM then i wuldnt take it seriously. i think the best and sweetest way to tell her over the summer is to just call her and tell you how you feel. if you get her answering machine just tell her to call you back and leave your number. if she calls back she must be interested ;) good luck

Its as good a way as any if you don't see her anywhere. Just don't jump right to that subject. Talk to her for a week or so before you say anything. Get to know her and let her get to know you better. The result will be better that way. :)

IM could work.. but it would probably be better to be random and creative. Do something different, but of course, romantic, and that way she'll be sure to remember it...
Like, get someone to announce it over a speaker system when you guys are hanging out... or pay to have it put up at a ball game (not very creative, but I always wanted it to happen...) If she's on the shy side, DO NOT DO THESE!! Write it on her hand, or something...

the IM thing is fine! just if you see her away message and it says shes hangin with her friends..i would hold off and tell her when her friends arent there. i would also not mention the fact your at your friends house because it might intimidate her or something. ,

AIM is a super idea. and E-mail. You've gotta tell her how you feel, man! Get her SN from one of her friends and IM her. Tell her! Wow, you're so sweet! That's awesome. She'll really appreciate you telling her, and if you go about it the right way, she'll be really really really happy.
Don't tell her you love her though. That might scare her away. Be gentle and just say, "You know, I really like you. As more than a friend..."
Even if she doesn't like you back, it's always nice to know that you've spoken your heart and mind and told the truth.
If you don't want to IM her, get her phone number and call her. Or you could get her address and write her a letter.

Hey! You should definitely tell her. IM is probabally not the best idea to tell her though because things could get messed up and there is no solid proof from the internet. I would try calling her to tell her if you have her phone number. Or write her a letter and put it in her mailbox. Sorry that's all I could think of right now.

You should defenetly tell her. Most guys wont even tell a girl how they feel but thank god you will. L0L! Maybe telling her at school isnt the best idea because you will feel weird. You should for sure get her screen name if you feel like thats easier. But honestly I think that if you wrote her a sweet note that would be cute! All girls loooove getting them!! Instead, ask if she would like to go do something, like see a movie. That way it is obvious that you like her, and you don't have to be embarassed by actually saying it. And you get to do stuff with the girl you like. If your parents don't let you date, make it a group thing with some of your friends, and some of hers.

Well do you know where she hangs out? Like maybe at the mall or the park? If you have no idea how to contact her irl, I say get her screen name and plan to meet her somewhere. Then tell her in person. And give her a rose, unless she's allergic. And if you can write, give her a poem. If you can't write, find a poem somebody else wrote.
