Pregnancy

Question Posted Thursday May 5 2005, 4:46 pm

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and I just had my period. I usually have it for 4 or 5 days but I only had it for 3 this time. The first two days it was very heavy. I had to change my tampon (regular absorbancy) every hour. Thats a lot for me but still it was only heavy like that for 2 days .. Im really nervous. I just want to know if u guys think I could be pregnant. I dont feel any different at all.. no stomach aches or dizzieness. Please help.. I rate high!

You could always possibly be pregnant when having unprotected sex but personally this situation doesn't seem like you are. My advice is if you don't want to be pregnant which by your question you obviously don't then you need to stop having unprotected sex!!! Still I'm no doctor and I could be wrong about you being pregnant so you should still get tested either way!! Hope your not pregnant gurl!!!

Luv,

Uhm.. well you had your period so Im guessing that you are'nt prgnant. If you were pregnant you wouldnt of even gotten your period you know that right? Periods are irregular all the time so its fine if you are heavy. If you think you are pregnant still go take a pregnancy test and next time you have sex... use a condom. You just got lucky this time. If you want to know if your pregnant get a pregnancy test or see a docter, thats probably the only way you'll find out.

Hope I helped!

Pregnancy won't just stop your period after a couple of days. If you don't get it next month AT ALL then you may have something to worry about. Don't have unprotected sex. There are a lot od diseases out there that a permenent and some that will kill you. That is besides the worry about being pregnant. :)

OrionsFire answered Thursday May 5 2005, 5:42 pm:
I'd guess you aren't pregnant because heavy bleeding for 2 days while you are pregnant is not common. Also, it could have been a change in your body because of the recent sexual activity with your boyfriend. If you are really nervous, go to planned parenthood or buy a pregnancy test and just do a test...you'll be fine.

you cant always be sure because your egg hasnt been released into your uterus yet. so maybe it being cut short is a sign. go to the pharmasy and buy a pregnancy test..better safe then sorry. and you dont have to have your parents with u they cant deny you buying that its illegal. so i really really think you should take a pregnancy test in about 3 days..and next time.. dont have unprotected sex..not a very smart thing to do!

Well, I don't think that you are pregnant. You got your period so it is almost impossible for you to be pregnant. Your period is probabally a lot shorter and is heavier because you just had sex, it can make it change or make it irregular. As for having unprotected sex...use a condom next time because it is better to be safe than sorry.

Good Luck
I hope this helps

It's close to impossible for you to be pregnant. Most women will either completely miss their period or spot. You said you got your period like normal but only for 3 days. If you are still worried that you might be pregnant, you should most definately take a pregnancy test. They cost around 15 dollars for the EPT test and that one is probably the most accurate one to buy. I don't think you're pregnant at all because like I said, it's close to impossible but that doesn't mean it ISN'T possible. You should just get a pregnancy test just to be sure and from now be safe but don't forget your flavours! Also, you should always wear a condom EVEN if you are on the pill.

Michele answered Thursday May 5 2005, 4:58 pm:
Any pain at all in your breasts? Or are they tender? I would say that you are not pregnant, but why don't you pick up one of those pregancy tests? They are very accurate and I think they cost about $10.00. And don't tell me you don't have $10.00 because if you don't have $10.00 you shouldn't be having sex...because both babies and/or abortions cost a lot more......oh and by the way, condoms are even cheaper
Use them. We have enough unwanted kids in this world. don't you read some of the questions on this website from kids who are being abused and neglected? Please be more responsible.

You are not pregnant...The reason for the change in flows is because you did have sex.. Sex tends to change the flows. Sometimes they can make them go longer or even shorter, heavier or lighter...
but dont worry your not pregnant.

Karen answered Thursday May 5 2005, 4:49 pm:
If you got your period after you had sex with your boyfriend, then you aren't pregnant. You don't get your period while you're pregnant, except if you spot. If you still think you are, then take a pregnancy test.
