okay, well i like this guy but he doesnt like me i dont even think he likes me as a friend i dont know why i mean i talk to him on the bus and all but thats it. and i overheard him say he doesnt like me but i have liked this guy for a really long time. im 14 and have never had a boyfriend or even danced with a guy i know its pathetic...so could someone please help me because im at the end of 8th grade and i really want a boyfriend or just someone to like me back and i seem really pathetic..i know but idk what to do please help me...

Why wouldnt he like you! You seem really nice and sweet. Dont think its pathetic because it isnt at all. See, you cant expect the guy to like you as a girlfriend and thers really nothing you can do about that. I know that it might hurt you a little but thats just how it is. Im not saying he doesnt like you but you will never know exacly the truth unless you talk to him about that. Why are you saying he wont even like you as a friend? Why wouldnt he? You never did anything bad to him so Im sure he likes you at least as friends or maybe even the other way! If you heard him say he doesnt like you like that dont take it personaly. He might. He probablly just said that because he doesnt even know you that well..so you have to talk to him more then just on the bus. The way to get this guy to like you (even if it's just as a friend) is to be nice to him, and talk to him more. If your bus ride's like 15 minutes... that's not a whole lot of talking, you know?

But be it 12, 17, oR 20... it's not as big of a deal as you might assume. I know *TONS* and *TONS* of people who aRe aRound 20-21, and have still neveR even held hands with someone. I'm 14, in ninth grade, and in my fisrt relationship. It doesn't really matter how old you are, the right person will come along sooner or later. I used to feel like you, but now I realize that my boyfriend is just who I've been wanting all along, and I didn't know anyone before him like that. High school allows you to meet all kinds of people, you'll see. In the meantime enjoy being single! Haha. And when you do find someone, ask him instead of waiting for him to get it, guys are too slow sometimes! Don't be afraid of talking to guys with intentions of friendship, it helps to be friends with guys. And learn to love yourself without the approval of a guy.
