Nerdy_Chihuahua answered Friday April 15 2005, 3:43 pm: Just because everyone else is doing it, you shouldn't. Do what's healthy. Just in case, wait for another 5 weeks and then put it on. If your boyfriend asks, just say that you couldn't put it on yet. He should understand. [ Nerdy_Chihuahua's advice column | Ask Nerdy_Chihuahua A Question ]
bethalina024 answered Thursday April 14 2005, 9:49 pm: well coming form a person who has 11 holes in her ears all done by herself i would say go ahead and change it. i've done all of my piercings and i always change them. as long as it isn't infected and you make sure that the ring is clean and the hole is clean there should be nothing wrong with changing it. but remember if you do get an infection for any reason take it out right away [ bethalina024's advice column | Ask bethalina024 A Question ]
sadisticfreak42 answered Tuesday April 12 2005, 11:34 pm: i got my belly button peirced and asked the same question to the guy who did it and he said that the ring that they put in there was designed for the healing process.. i wouldn't change it at all for two months or else it WON'T heal right.. and most likely will get infected.. word of warning.. i hope you don't listen to those other people... angelinluv6767 answered Tuesday April 12 2005, 10:04 pm: no its not too early. i got mine done on valentines day and i changed it a week later. The guy that pierced mine said it was ok to change it after a week but make sure the ring is soaked in alcohol for at least 5 minutes so that it will be cleaned. Hope this helped. leave it in my inbox if u need anythign else. [ angelinluv6767's advice column | Ask angelinluv6767 A Question ]
