darkconfessions answered Sunday April 10 2005, 1:31 pm: Try washing it every morning and use conditioner after you shampoo. Make sure you are gettin all of your shampoo and conditioner rinsed out. That can cause it to be greesy. Oh and some people just have naturally greesy hair. Just take care of it good and you should be okay. xOtWiXi answered Sunday April 10 2005, 1:31 pm: Believe it or not, anti-dandruff shampoo so helps [Nexxus works the best!], or you might be putting too much conditioner on, like I once did. Try shampooing very throughly and rinsing it out completely, and try a LITTLE conditioner, not that much on the top of your head- it helped me! If you realize it and don't have a chance to shower, put a little baby powder in your hair- it absorbs the oils in your hair, or you can put a little in your brush- but make sure you shake it through your hair and don't put too much so people can see white, make sure you kinda rub it in a bit! If you need anything else, just message me! Hope I've Helped! ♥ [ xOtWiXi's advice column | Ask xOtWiXi A Question ]

SweetStarx89 answered Sunday April 10 2005, 11:45 am: hEY! i recommend you wash your hair every other day like i do...because then it wont get greasy or nothing. hope i helped. take care! x3 SweetStar.
[EDIT] you said that you wash it the day after it gets all icky...then try washing it everyday...it shouldnt be like that if you dont sweat a lot. make sure you wash and blow dry and if can get it out of the way like putting it up sometimes...and sometimes hair can be effected by the things you eat. not saying you eat a lot of greasy foods but a healthy diet can make hair healthier less greasy and shiney. Nokomis answered Sunday April 10 2005, 10:41 am: Switch shampoos, wash twice, make sure you get everything out. I use herbal essences for oily hair. Good Luck!
MissAmy answered Sunday April 10 2005, 10:21 am: You could try using a different shampoo.
Like, I use Dove and I have to wash my hair everyday or it'll look greasy...but when I use White Rain, I can go a day without washing.
I also once read in a magazine that if you sprinkle some baby powder throughout your hair (just a little, not enough for a colonial wig) it reduces the obvious grease shine. [ MissAmy's advice column | Ask MissAmy A Question ]
wise_one answered Sunday April 10 2005, 10:20 am: You may have dandruff which might be causing your hair to become greesy. If so try dandruff controlling shampoos. Otherwise lay off using too much conditioner and wash your hair twice. [ wise_one's advice column | Ask wise_one A Question ]
Karen answered Sunday April 10 2005, 10:08 am: If you use conditioner, make sure you don't use a lot and that you rinse all of it out. This usually causes hair to become greasy and oily. Do you use your conditioner throughout your hair? You aren't supposed to use conditioner near your roots so just use it from the middle of your hair and away from your roots and that will stop your hair from looking greasy. If that doesn't seem to help, then put some baby powder in your hair and that will get rid of the grease in your hair. Make sure you rub the powder in. You could also try using a different type of shampoo/conditioner. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
