ThatSparkle answered Sunday April 3 2005, 12:24 am: Is it a pain in your legs, or just soreness from working your muscles?
If it's a pain, you may want to see a doctor. You could have tore something, or did some other sort of damage.
If being sore is the case, you probably overworked yourself, and haven't ran this much until recently. If you run this much often, your body will adjust to the new changes and it won't hurt that often. If you stretch your muscles (I know... it hurts), they'll feel much better. Also, icy hot and icing on and off for twenty minutes at a time could help.
I don't know anything about lacrosse, but I looked up a few websites for you.

2. Place all shots, usually in a far corner
3. Move to meet every pass
4. Don't always run at the same speed
5. Learn at least three different types of dodges
1. There must be plenty of talk on defense
2. Make your checks short and hard
3. Always scoop a loose ball. Never draw it.
4. Keep your stick a little above the height of your attack man's shoulder
JadedinNowhere answered Saturday April 2 2005, 11:26 am: 2 words, icy hot. It helps sooth muscles really really well and I use it when I'm sore a lot of the time after soccer. Also you can just take an ice pack and place it on the spot for an hour, and then put warmth on it from like.. a heating pad. [ JadedinNowhere's advice column | Ask JadedinNowhere A Question ]

punkrockprincess answered Friday April 1 2005, 10:07 pm: Stretch your legs! And before you do any running, do some stretching then. It really helps and it's a whole lot better for your body.
Dani3ll3_Lov3 answered Friday April 1 2005, 10:00 pm: You probly have shin splints. Don't go and spend money on a doctor's appointment! I have and I can tell you what you need to know! First when you get your gear on.. Rap medical tape arround your calf about 3 inches down from your knee.. and also about 2 inches above your ankle! this will push your muscle up against yoru bone again! and it shouldn't hurt!
