karazimonki answered Thursday March 31 2005, 5:59 pm: Maybe ask your teachers if they can give you extra credit. Go after school during your study halls and during lunch to get help. Maybe ask your parents to call like sullivan learning center or some body lie that. Good luck

orphans answered Thursday March 31 2005, 1:19 pm: Well maybe you're trying using the wrong methods. Try different methds of working or learning. I'm so happy you care and you don't want to fail, that also shows enthusiasm towards education, so at least you have the correct and positive attitude towards learning and doing well. Just give yourself time, and if you fail, then at least you know you tried anyway. [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
p3t4r0 answered Wednesday March 30 2005, 1:39 am: You try so you fail. If you dont try you can't really fail cos you didn't try at all. That was your mistake. See what you've learned? Scholastic knowledge. And where did that get you? FAILING. Next time dont even try and you wont be dissapointed, Failure. [ p3t4r0's advice column | Ask p3t4r0 A Question ]
uacctk14 answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 1:46 pm: i think you should ask your parents if you can get a tutor who can help you through the school year. I know you probably do try but try even harder.use your bad grades as a motivation for getting good grades. Good luck! [ uacctk14's advice column | Ask uacctk14 A Question ]
jokerzgrl answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 12:47 pm: You should try going to tutoring or better yet, talking to your teachers. Depending on the teacher, if you talk to them and poitn out the fact that, yeah, you're not doing that great, but you always turn in your work on time and try your hardest, they may either give you extra credit, or raise your grade a bit. But your best bet, is to go to tutoring. Not every teacher may be as forgiving or understanding. You may learn differently. If you can go to summer school, you may not want to do it, but think about it like this, do everything you can so you WON'T be a grade behind and or screw up your gpa.

karenR answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 1:27 am: Study, study and study some more! You probably do already, I know. Some people just have a hard time in school. Do you have a friend who can study with you? That is always good.
The main thing is to do the very best you can.If you fail a year it will be tough but you just get right back in there and do it again.Really think about getting someone to study with you.
Maybe you can talk to your teacher and have her help you find someone who is good at the work and wouldn't mind helping you out.Don't give up no matter what okay?:} [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
partygurl24 answered Tuesday March 29 2005, 12:06 am: There is probably something distracting you from your school works. You still have more than enough time to pick up your grades. Ask your teachers if they can help tutor you maybe after school. If they see how dedicated you are to passing, then they'll be more than happy to lend a hand to your success. Try to keep your focus mainly on your family and school work. Do your #1 best in school, work hard, and turn in all assignments. Also, study for every test no matter how easy, but don't cram because you will just be setting yourself up for failure like many people say. I want you to know that it's very heart warming to see inividuals try to make an improvement instead of people who just don't even care about school or put any effort into your work. I guarantee that your family and teachers will be proud of you. I hope I helped, and if you have any questions then post me a message and I'll be sure to answer you ASAP!!! Explain to them how hard you are trying.. try to work out a plan with them and see if they can help you improve your grade. Ask for extra credit, and anything you can possibly do to get more points. All hope is not lost! :) [ Hillybug7's advice column | Ask Hillybug7 A Question ]
RoadkillSalad answered Monday March 28 2005, 9:39 pm: Just do your best, don't beat yourself up to do something you can't. Some people make straight As. But making a B would kill them. Then others make Ds. But making a B would thrill them. Just try your hardest to study. Take time out of the day to study, write stuff in the books down on cards and when riding in a car or something take it out and quiz yourself. Take notes in class. Just work hard and maybe you'll end up with a passing grade, just try what works, but you can only do your best, that's all someone can ask of you. Now get off Advicenators and get studying (Just joking)! [ RoadkillSalad's advice column | Ask RoadkillSalad A Question ]
Sporkster answered Monday March 28 2005, 9:08 pm: The keys to making good grades are:
1) Paying good attention during class lectures.
Make sure you take LOTS of notes. Believe me, this will DRAMATICALLY change your grades.
2) Study study study!!! Remember those notes I told you to take? Go over them and highlight the most important things. Study the highlighted stuff. Make note cards. Go over it and over it and over it. Take...30 minutes a night and just read your notes.
