YouCanSleepWhileIDream answered Sunday March 13 2005, 12:09 am:
Use some kind of acne formula (Stridex, Clean & Clear, etc). Also, if it doesn't clear up completely by the time the dance comes, a good type of foundation can help.
As for the chocolate thing. From what I've heard that's a myth, and chocolate doesn't make you break out.
Hope I was of some help :o).

azngemini answered Friday March 11 2005, 7:44 pm:
when I have a breakout, I use noxzema triple clean astringent 2 or 3 times a day, like in the morning, afternoon, and before I go to bed. and after I apply the astringent, I use clean and clear advantage acne spot treatment. and in the nest day, the pimple or pimples are a lot smaller. this totally works for me, maybe it'll help you also. oh yeah, and junk food and chocolate dont make your skin break out. I've read a lot of articles, and they all say that the food you eat has no effect on acne.

ok try this, get some cologne (not perfume) put it on a qtip and press it on the zit, press hard but not too hard. it wont colpletely go away but it will get smaller and flatter, hard to notice. if its still noticeable some makeup should cover it up at that point.

XSugarPieX77 answered Friday March 11 2005, 11:26 am:
Yes, because you ate junk food that could be why you broke out. Put deep clear clensing face wash on your face. Dont use foundation because that creates more pimples. Scrub you face with soap and water. Good luck.

There is plenty of advice below on what you can do.

My only comment is that stress is a much bigger cause of skin problems than occasional junk food. If you are nervous about the dance coming up and then stress even more about having broken out, you're only making it more difficult. Try and do you best to relax. slow even breathing if you feel yourself getting tense or thinking too much.

wash your face really well twice a day until it clears up. eating chocalte does not make you break outany worse than other foods would.

Wash your face real well every morning and night with soap or face wash. DOn't cover them up with makeup because that can make things worse. Junk foods aren't the only things that cause breakouts. It can be sweat, stress, makeup, or just putting your hands on your face. Avoid that as much as possible and thigs should be fine.

shake answered Thursday March 10 2005, 10:19 pm:
You broke out because god doesnt like you. And that makes you very mad. Rub toothpaste on your head it should work. Its only at night though. Before you lie down be sure to let the paste dry first or it wont work.

Tooth paste works...let ti sit on them for a little while -- Or buy a face wash and cleaning pads and follow the directions...also if you wear cover up try to get a good kind and not a greesy one they can prevent break outs

Mandee answered Thursday March 10 2005, 10:11 pm:
Hey Sweetie!

No, chocolate and junk food hasn't been proven to make your skin break out. Usually the amount of breakouts you get are from your genes, your hormones, and stress. Fun stuff, I know. =/

Anyways, put ice on the problem areas to help reduce the redness. Then, wash your face, with an oil free soap or facial cleanser. But if you know what kind of skin type you have, I would get a skin care routine for your skin type. You can do this by going to the mall and go to Clinque. They do a good job of that. Try using an acne medication if you have one to put on your break outs. Drinking lots of water helps keep your skin mosturized and might speed up the healing process. So try that for now. But I think it's best to just do what you can for the moment and let the breakouts run it's course. Covering it up with your skin tone concealer will do the trick the night of your dance. You can't magically clear it up hun. Sorry. But the lighting of the stage (if you're on stage) won't show redness in your skin. So don't worry about a thing! Poeple aren't going to say "Look, oh my God, that girl has break outs!" People won't notice..and besides it's so common.

Love ya!
Mandee
