normal. This could go on until you are 17. May start being regular sooner than that.Don't worry about it, it's because you are still maturing & growing.

Ya its normal it will eventully come. If you get it for the first time and then the next month you expect it to come at the same time dont. Your period will come off and on at first then later on it will go at a regular bases.

Yes, it's normal to not have your period for a month. Your period cycle will eventually regulate and it will then come on the same days each months or every so often weeks.

It's very normal. One way to get it started is to buy some new, white panties and wear them without pads. Aunt Flo LOVES to mess up new, white panties.

*ashlee* answered Monday March 7 2005, 12:24 pm:
well your only supposed to have it once a month, so there will be a month in between each time you have it. if your saying that you dont have it sometimes for two months then there could be a problem. its doubtful because everybodys is different and its hardly ever exactly on time. also, your 14 and your whole body is still changing dramatically, so it may be a while before your period gets ahold of itself and settles down permenantly. but just to be sure, you should ask your mom about it and talk to her about seeing a doctor.

Well it's may oR may NOT be a pRoblem. If you've had youR peRiod foR a while, then you shouyld alReady be familiaR with it's patteRn, if it has been this way fRom the beginning, and you get it about once eveRy 5 weeks, I would say you'Re fine, but if this is some Radical change, peRhaps THEN you should consult a physcian. In eitheR case, I wish you the best of luck!

I'm male, so I'm just going to take a stab at this, from what I have heard, In the first couple of years of puberty, when you start getting your periods, they can be irregular.. so sometimes they wont come, and sometimes they will come bad, and sometimes they wil come twice a month.. so its normal.. hope I helped :P

Little_Miss_Cant_Be_Wrong answered Monday March 7 2005, 6:26 am:
If you have just gotten your period, it is normal for it to be irregular for up to a year or so before your body gets on a regular schedule. I know alot of girls who, for about a year when they got their period, would skip a month every once in a while. If you have had your period for a while though, and it's frequently irregular or skipping months, you might want to bring it up with your doctor at your next check up. Another possible answer to this is that women need to have at least 10-12 percent body fat to maintain healthy bodily functions and to continue having their period. If it is possible that you may be under this percentage, that could be why you are skipping months sometimes. Try and make sure your nutrition habits are healthy. Hope this helped. If you are still concerned, talk to your mom or another female adult that you trust. They have been through this before, also.

Well, you have your period about once a month, and after you've had it for a while, it should seem like it doesn't happen for a while.
