toothpaste Some people say that if you put toothpaste on a pimple overnight than it will go away. Does anyone know if this is true? Has anyone tried it?

it doesnt work--its an old wives tale ]

I know it works on bug bites, and that works and my friend told me that if you put it on pimples it will reduce the size and redness, so i would try it before you go to bed and wash it off in the morning. Good Luck...

All it does is help dry it out.It doesn't get rid of it (trust me i've tried). The best way to get rid of a pimple is oxyclean ointment for pimples which is what i use whenever i get a pimple.:-)

that depends. i tried it and my zit didn't completely go away, but it got better and i could barely even see it. my cousin tried it and all it did was burn her skin and make her pimple smaller... but RED. i guess it depends on your skin, so try it on a small part of you skin (like when you try some new kind of lotion or something) and see if it works. if it doesn't, Proactiv works MIRACLES!!!!!! ]
In fact it is true Because I tried it once ]
I'm not sure but try bye bye blemish is really works overnight! ]
idk about toothpaste... but i know this makeup artist guy and he says that if you rub a sliced tomato on it it works... something about the acids in a tomato...? i havent done it but you might wanna give it a try... hope it works!

ha.. good question. That is true... i do it all the time.. just don't put too much on.. it will burn! ]
It works miracles on some people, but I tried it and all the happened was that the spot scarred...if you wanna try it, try it on one that is on a not-so-visible part of your face (e.g. somewhere covered by yoru hairline) just in case!!

Toothpaste does work, but not that great. It just mostly drys out the pimple(s) and clears up the redness. You could always use it if you want to get rid of the pimple(s) some. Then just use some cover up and you won't notice it at all.

No, toothpaste isn't an overnight treatment. If that were true then no one would have acne. It does help, but not that much. Get ProActive or some other special treatment made for acne.
Good luck.

It won't go away completely. Sometimes it works, sometiemes it doesn't. I'm a real skin-freak so what I've found works for me is completely wash my skin, and clean it with rubbing alchohol. It will sting, but it generally starts to dry it out. If you put toothpaste on it every few hours, I think yes it will work. But putting it on just once doesn't really "do" anything major. ]
This just decreases redness. My advice is don't try it. ]
This is true, and yes I have tryed it. But it does burn...alot. ]
It won't actual get rid of your zit; it will only dry it out and reduce the redness of it. So basically, it does get rid of it but then again, it doesn't. I have tried it plenty of times and it's true and it does work. Just make sure you use lotion afterwards. Hope I helped :)

It will not get RID of the pimple, but it will decrease the redness! I say go for it, because if it doesnt work atleast your pimple will smell minty fresh! ]
