jean trouble

Question Posted Sunday February 13 2005, 6:13 pm

I have a problem finding jeans that fit me. I am 5'3", and 85 lbs. I have tried many stores, but most of them don't even have any size 0's that fit me. I have to wear juniors b/c my legs are long, but most jeans are too baggy. The only place that I have occasional luck is Kohl's, but most of the time they don't even fit me. Does anyone know a good store for people with skinny, long legs? Or could I get custom made jeans cheaply (i'm guessing not). Please help me, I rate 5's!!!

Additional info, added Sunday February 13 2005, 6:59 pm:
Don't worry i can afford pretty expensive clothes- basically $60 or under per pair of jeans! Most jeans don't go above that, as far as I'm aware of. And thanks for the advice everyone! I will definetely be going to the mall next weekend!.

I have almost the same problem.. but I'm 5'2" and 95 lbs. Do you have Rich's where you live? If you do, a good brand that they sell is American Rag. They're clothes fit great. But they're sometimes a little expensive.. like maybe $40 for a pair of jeans or something. Also if you get like Mudd stretch jeans they usually fit really good and they're not expensive at all.

Well you're 5'3 that isn't considered tall in most stores.Stores like abercrombie and fitch and hollister have "tall sizes" but they are for people 5'7-5'11.you can get a 0 or 00 in short or regular at american eagle or something.

Some stores (Limited too is the only example I can think of, but that's little girl clothes) have Slim sizes- like 8 Slim, 2 Slim, etc. Just shop around, ask some of your friends, maybe try Abercrombie or Target.

Lei can custom make your jeans but it's not that cheap. You can get some jeans at JcPenny or at Filene's. The Weathervane used to have jeans that would fit anyone but they aren't coming for a while. Deb's and Pac Sun have some also. Hope I helped :)
