Q: i have to memorize a sonnet for my english class and i am having a horrible time. i've tried making flash cards, recording it and listening to it, but nothing i'm doing seems to work. do y'all have any advice on how to memorize (if you need to see it, it's shakespeare's sonnet #148). thanks so much!!

this is how i do it! doesn't a sonnet have 14 lines? i think it does...but anyways what i'd do is memorize the first 2. just say em over and over and over. then when u got those practice saying the 3rd and 4th lines by themselves. when u have the 3rd and 4th memorized put the 1st, 2nd, third and forth together. then do the 5th and 6th then put them with the first four. and so on and so forth!

Q: okay. i'd been with my boy for a month and i really liked him. the only problem was that we fought. all the time! about the stupidest little things. he will be upset and i'd ask what's wrong and he'd just be all 'nothing' when i knew something was wrong. then he'd say that i said or did something to upset him bet he never told me what. i got so pissed of last night that i dumped him. i live in australia so it's valentines day today and every little thing reminds me of him. i know that if i asked for him back that he would take me but i dont want to be with him. i dont think. i'm just confused. it's understandable that you miss him cuz tomorrow is the official "love day" but if you don't wanna be with him...don't. if he's gonna be mad over stuff for no reason...he doesn't deserve you anyway! there's someone out there who is dying to be with you that won't get mad over stupid, nonsense stuff. good luck!

a break usually means: you're still dating but also dating other people so you're not official. and chances are with a break they'll get back together. he's probably just confused about things...take it from someone's who's been there and done that...everything will work out.

Q: Ok, this guy I have liked forever told me somethings last night i confused me a bit. Well to start things off, we went to a dance at our school. When i got home i talked to him on AIM. He said he really screwed things up when it came to this he liked. He said that he thought she kept eyeing him throughout the whole thing. Which i was doing. Then he said that he never asked her to dance but he could tell that she wanted to...but he never had enought courage...and i never danced with him, but i deff. wanted to. ooh i definitely believe it's you! you know, guys are so weird like that, they describe that it's you throughout your whole conversation, they just refuse to say it cuz they're scared/shy. so next time you talk to him and he starts talking about it, flirt a little in a playful (but not really playful) way...yeah, that's probably confusing but what i mean is like he says they were eyeing him all night, be like "are you sure it wasn't me you saw?" so it's playful, but you're being honest. if he keeps beating around the bush without saying anything about it directly being you (unless you know for sure it's not even tho i think it is) then just tell him straight out "you know i really like you a lot". hope i helped! good luck! :)

Q: I have a problem finding jeans that fit me. I am 5'3", and 85 lbs. I have tried many stores, but most of them don't even have any size 0's that fit me. I have to wear juniors b/c my legs are long, but most jeans are too baggy. The only place that I have occasional luck is Kohl's, but most of the time they don't even fit me. Does anyone know a good store for people with skinny, long legs? Or could I get custom made jeans cheaply (i'm guessing not). Please help me, I rate 5's!!!

Q: I've been majorly depressed since May of last year. and I went through a lot of stuff during that time, including therapy. Two days before Christmas, my boyfriend (Kyle) broke up with me and made the whole depression thing worse, until I eventually got over that.
Well, after Kyle broke up with me, this other guy that has always been there for me through anything, being kind of like an older brother, confessed that he has feelings for me. Hes the sweetest anyone has ever been to me. I love him. But, a couple weeks ago Kyle asked me back out, and I couldn't go back out with him because he broke my heart, and our relationship wasnt that great to begin with. Anyways, since then I've been really really depressed, I got the the point where I was suicidal, and I almost killed myself. I told the other guy that I can't date him now, even though I really want to, because I think I should wait until I start to get happy again. I've been seeing my schools "crisis counselor", and I'm starting to feel better...slowly but surely. And now I'm scared to get my heart broken again. I dont know what to do, because I really want to date him. I know he would wait for me until I feel realyl ready to date him, and I want to date him now...I dont know what to do though, Im just confused. Any advice?

actually...it depends on the guy. usually a guy just wanting a gf really bad or sexual stuff goes on looks only. however, other guys who really like someone usually fall for them because of their personality, but some guys (most guys actually) who are wanting a real relationship are looking for great personality and some looks. i'm not really sure what kind of looks or traits they're wanting other than just being nice, and i've heard a lot of guys say they like the "hour glass" shape...but ya know...most guys that really like you don't look at your body too much. so just be yourself and i'm sure you'll find someone. hope i could be of some help!

i had a best friend who did this too. the thing is she lied about everything for a year straight. and it sounds mean, but the only way i could get her to stop was to finally just catch her in a lie right as she said it and confront her about it very firmly. she got mad at me for it, but then she call me that night and told me she was sorry, she shouldn't have done it, she understood why we (my friend and i) were mad, and she'd never do it again. and as far as i know, she never did. i hope i could be of some help.

this is really hard because if you tell your bestfriend and he denies it when she confronts him, she may be mad at you. maybe if she heard him telling you this. maybe you could tell her and then call him and get him to say it. but i don't think you should date him. your friendship is way too precious to ruin over this guy. i hope i could be of help and good luck!

Q: well let me tell u the whole story well it all happened today. well i went to the theater with my friend and her family and stuff well we waited for her mom,dad,sister, and brother and when they got there he just kept looking at me. well when the movie finish we went outside and stuff and i notice he was still looking at me of course i was blushing and felt funny!! well me and my friend left with her aunt to my friends house well we got locked out and stuff so we waited for her mom and family to come well like an hour later they came and her brother kept looking at me and yea i thought he was hot.well they were cleaning thier house and every time he passed thru my friends room he always look and stuff well we went to a gig (a party for rockers)well we got there and me and him started talking to each other and then my friend went out to hear the band and me and him just sat and talk thats when he took out a bottle cap saying if it lands heads we are just friends but if it land tail we have to make out i was cool with it and we made out alot and i ask him was he just making out with me for fun or because he liked me and he said noo am no doing it for fun and i dont understud what he said but i think he said i like you or i love you and after he said that he kiss me in the cheack and we just started talking again and we tried to hold hands but we didn't want any body to see us we did hold hands but just for a while. now i really like this guy but am not sure if i should tell my friend?? And i dont know if i should start a real rlationship with him??

tell your friend. if she's okay with it, go for him! but if she's not, then don't, because it may ruin your friendship. and there is nothing wrong with starting a real relationship with him, but whatevever you do, never put your friend in the middle in u do start a relationship with him. like, don't fuss about him to her, or tell her to talk to him about something, or if you're arguing with him, don't tell her about it. i hope i could be of help!

Q: so about a year ago, my dad and my step mom got a divorce. It really suc'd like any divorce, but my stEp mom blamed it on me...I still belive deep down that it was my fault, but everyone tells me it wasnt. it's not your fault. your step mom just wanted to put the blame on someone, probably because it's her fault. you don't need to apologize to anyone because you didn't do anything wrong. all u can do is wait, however, tell your dad when you don't like someone, because no one should be brought in to the family that you don't approve of. good luck.

i kind of understand your boyfriends view. you dumped him for somebody else. and not to me, but to him it may seem like you only want him back so you can have a boyfriend. so i think in order to be able to get back with your boyfriend, you're going to have to stay friends for a while and build the trust back up. then maybe you guys can go at it again.

Q: this is going to be very long. I'm in love with this guy and i have been for about 8 months i would say. We have been having sex for a year now and he just thought of me as u kno-a sex friend.
