Last year i went to this valentines day dance. my best friend had a girlfriend and i didnt and i felt like a "tag-along". he has so many girls that like him and i think it might happen again this year. i was thinking that i might try to ask someone too but i dont really like anyone so i dont have anyone to ask. I was just going to find someone that i liked a little bit and ask her but im not sure. Should i ask somebody or should i go alone like last year? What should i do? Please help.

Okay, I think you should ask someone! I mean, If you dont want to feel like a "tag-along" like last year, you should ask someone! Plus, it would be more fun. If you dont have anyone you really like or whatever, ask one of your friends!

If you really feel - left out - about going alone, ask someone. It doesnt matter how much you like them, you can go as friends. & be sure to let the girl know that too!

i used to go to dances without a date and find some one there. its nice because you can ask a girl you dont know to dance and if she says no you probably will never see her again (if your school is big enough) being the third wheel is tougher so i suggest taht if you dont find a date you like as a female friend of yours. i went with a friend for prom and had a great time.

I'v bin asked by many guys and they dident like me....just ask one of your friends (girl) to go with you and ya just have fun and dance with ppl....and if you dont want to invite anyone well thats fine because you cango stag and dance with alot of chicks that way

Well, if you find someone you like, then go for it! But don't just ask someone if you don't like them. If you end up not liking anyone by the Valentine's Day Dance, then just go and hangout. You don't necessarily have to tag-along with your best friend the whole night, you can just go and hang out with everyone. Hope you find someone =)

Whatever, it's really your prerogative. If you felt like a tag-along last year with your best friend who's obviously very popular with the ladies, maybe asking someone this year could be a good idea. If you do, ask someone who you're comfortable hanging out with a lot and talking to, so it won't get awkward and you'lll have a good time, even if this is your best girl friend. Have fun!

you should definitely ask someone because you will be bored all alone. but if there is absolutely no one you are interested in, dont force yourself, go alone. you will find someone who has the same problem.

Yeah i think you should ask. Big deal if she turns you down..at least you took the chance. Or you can go with a good friend..just as friends. If you wind up not having a date..go to the dance and be the "single guy." Girls will flock around you and dance with you if you get out there on the floor :)

Just ask someone. Worst case, ya'll won't get along but it beats being alone. All girls want is someone to ask them so just do it! You don't have to be looking for a relationship. Good luck!

Just go alone, or not go at all. Cause if you ask a girl, shes gonna take it as ya'll are going out and might be totally into you and then you'd just end up breaking her heart. So if you do go, go alone, and just hook up with girls there just to dance with.
