My rat If you took a rat on vacation with you, but kept her in one of those mini cAges, would that be too stressing for the animal?? (i'd keep food, water, and toys in it)

I think so. Some animas aren't good with coping with new surroundings ]
OK, i dont understand why ypou would take a RAt with you anywhere. But thats up 2 you.. lol um depends on th rat i gues if its more calm and collectied then sure igues? but if its spastic and dosent gets scared when u walk by or like i dont know, its upo to you, you rknow ure rat better then i do ]
NO NO NO NO NO NO it will not be stressful at all!Hamsters, Mice, Rats, ect. they all just sleep cause of the bumpy ride! make sure u have food and water and put a wheel in there just make sure he/she has food and water!TRUST ME I NO! ]
I don't know much about rats but, it prbably would be stressfull for it. ]
You need to get your rat familiar with the environment before you attempt to do this. He could get pretty darned scared if suddenly his entire world changes. That's what he would think if you suddenly changed his cage and then took his cage to a new place. So, yes, your rat will get stressed if you do it suddenly.
If you take moops advice and get him familiar with the new cage first, then he should be ok. Make sure you put familiar toys, and his normal food and water dishes in the new cage. ]
nope! ]
No, she wouldn't get stressed out. They have simple lives/minds that aren't affected by things like travel or vacation like we do. ]
It would be best to just leave the rat at home and have someone else watch it. It is stressful for the animal even with the toys and food. ]
It depends what your rat is like if its the type that would sit around been lazy then no i dont think it would matter to it but if it was one that likes to run around then it might be a problem for it roxie xxx ]
I would think that yes it would be too stressing for the rat.

i'm going to have to answer that question with another question...why would you want to take a rat on vacation? ]
if you do end up taking it along in a seperate small cage, make sure you have it get totally used to its new "crib" in the proceeding weeks. kind of phase in the new cage and give the rat treats when he's put in the new cage - so as to have him associate the new cage with food = happiness. ]
maybe if you took it out every once and awhile it wont be to bad but if its a loong ride you may want to reconsider it ]
Yes, I have a very small puppy (not the same as a rat)we went on a vacation and he was very sad,mad and stressed, Maybe have a little bit bigger cage and like you said keep water and food etc. Make it cozzy for him/her! ]
why dont you buy a travel cage (extra large hermit crab cage) my hamster seems to like it when ever we go on trips. hope I helped.

i think that it would be okay, just make sure it feels comfortable at all times, good luck with ur travels :-) ]
for some animals yes. It depends on the pet. Does yours like to run around well then it's too much for it. ---

1 question - r u retarted ]
I think this idea of yours might not be the greatest! I think you should have a friend or family member watch it while you're on vacation! I'm sure your rat would be alright but you wouldn't want to take any chances! Mayeb you can research this? Hope I helped :)

-well if your going in a plan-dont take it-it will die or get very sick-because of how high the plan is-and even if your not going in a car-your better off leaving it at your house or with a friend you rlly trust- ]
of course not, i mean this will sound kinda mean but rats do not know the difference if it was an animal that had more intelligence you shouldnt but a rat of course just make sure to take good care of it ]
