Your on luck, well the same thing happened to me! put some presher on her (why are you being me) that tottaly freaks(not in a bad way) them out, it works you will get in to a conversation and you will soon be laughing back at this day

If you took a rat on vacation with you, but kept her in one of those mini cAges, would that be too stressing for the animal?? (i'd keep food, water, and toys in it)

Yes, I have a very small puppy (not the same as a rat)we went on a vacation and he was very sad,mad and stressed, Maybe have a little bit bigger cage and like you said keep water and food etc. Make it cozzy for him/her!

My mother bought me a beta fish (a Japanese fighting fish) and I have no idea how to take care of it. I got a book on how to take care of it, but you have to decode it (meaning I don't understand a word of it) The local veterenarians don't really know how to take care of these fish because not alot of their clients have fighting fishes. Does anyone on Advicenators know ANYTHING about these fishes? Do you know any sites where I can find information? (link)

Well do you no were you got the fish? if so then maybe talk to them about it. Or ask your mom to look thruogh that might help if it doesn't just let me no and i will give more advice
