i still have not gotten my period and all my friends that are even smaller and shorter then me already got theirs if it helps im in 7th grade and im almost 13

There's absoutely NOTHING wrong with you. Everyone goes through puberty at different times. You aren't your friends, you are YOU. No two girls are the same. So don't worry, it'll come. It's really not all that great, to tell you the truth. Cramps aren't fun!!

well i ddnt get mah period untill riite bfore mah 8th grade graduation dont worry bout it i kno ppl dat havent gotten it untill they were 16 all bodiies r different and u will get it eventually and believe me U DONT WANT IT!!!! -lol- its horrible... but hope i helped

Of course there is nothing wrong with you! Some people start their periods at the age of 10 where some girls can start as late as 16 - 17. I started my period at the same age you are now, so you will probably start in the next year or so. But, even if you don't, you don't need to worry about it. It will come eventually! Although, you should be glad that you don't have it yet because cramps & PMS suck like no other! =)

No there is nothing wrong with you!! If you are a very athletic person your period usually does not come until later. It's not a problem!
You are just taking your time devloping, consider yourself lucky!!! I know you may not think so but you are lucky you haven't gotten it yet, periods are so stressful and cost money for pads and such so just be happy that you havent got it yet

No there isn't anything wrong with you... the time you must worry is if your 15 and you still didn't get your period yet! But your perfectly fine!

Don't worry. I got mine 4 months before I turned 14. All girls bodies are different. I got mine in the summer before 9th grade. It's not a big deal.

don't worry, your time will come. i got mine when i was 13. for now, consider yourself lucky. unlike your other friends, you don't have to deal with cramps, bloating, and feeling like a manic depressive once a month. :) you're lucky!

there is absolutly nothing wrong with you. i didn't get mine until i was 14, almost 15! there are so many factors that need to be accounted for when determing when you get your period. when it's your time, it'll happen. in the mean time, enjoy not having it!

Theres nothing wrong with you! I am now in 8th grade and I just got my period in the summer of going into 8th grade. You might want to ask your mom when she got her period because it may be genes. Or the next time you see your doctor they may be able to tell you. Dont worry because everyone is different! Hope I helped!

I'm 14 in 5 days and I have not gotten my period. Its not average but its not abnormal. People grow at different times, everyones bodies are different. YOur time will come just relax!

Yeah that is normal i got mine in 7th but it also depends on your wieght i think bc i didnt get it until i wieghed around 105 lbs and same with my friends to . my friends are really skinny so i just watched who got it first. lol i kno it sounds werid but i think that is wha happens. also everyones body is different and i wouldnt be in a rush to get it it sucks! u lik get leaks in school but i understand i wanted it to, hope it helped!

It really doesn't matter if your friends are shorter or smaller. Their bodies are changing (going through puberty). Maybe your body isn't ready yet? Trust me, enjoy your life now before you get it! It's a pain in the ass! But honestly some girls don't even get their period until their 16.
