ok im not really excited about christmas and i dont know why? i mean i feel like something is missing in my life or is it that im just getting older but i dont think that is true bc i like christmas and all but it just seems like it doesnt matta anymore.

Hey, i felt the same way, and im not to sure but i think its the spirit of christmas, like when you were younger you would go to sleep thinking there was a santa clause that was going to come to your house but now you go to sleep thinking alright im going to wake up the next morning and its going to be like my birthday. there is no magic to it anymore and you just kind of grow out of it, it sucks, but watch christmas movies and make cookies and it might make you feel a little better about christmas and bring some of the your christmas spirit back! aight

i know exactly what you mean. when i started getting older, all holidays kind of lost the thrill they once used to have for me. even my brithday. i was more excited thinking about it than when it actually happened. all you can do is accept it, and if you aren't having fun, or don't think you will, plan some sort of christmas party-that should put you in the spirit! hope this helped

I dont really get excited over Christmas either. I belive that I dont feel welcome in my home and at my mother's house we never really have Christmas. nothing is missing in your life unless you know for a FACT that it is just not there. It might be that your getting older because I started to not get excited when I was about 11 years old when I just didn't care and now I'm 15 and it is just worse, like it's not even there anmore. I loke Christmas and all too but i just dont have "Christams Spirit" if u wanna put it that way, maybe it's the same for you...

I think its probably because you are older and that you know there is no Santa Clause..I wasn't that excited when I found out there wasn't lol.Hope I helped!

OK if u belive in the christian faith, which i do, Jesus may be telling you that hes the one ur missing and that its nothing material that will make that feeling go away. If you ask him into your life and get saved that need will be met and you will feel complete.

i think you feel like you need something, something just is not there. Maybe its that 1 thing you want for christmas and you think you wont get it bc its too much money. Or maybe a family member will not be there so clelebrate it with you. Just think how fun its going to be once you get down stairs and open all of your presents!

I would volunteer at a kids shelter or homeles..see untill you REALLy have nothing..then you appreicate whatever you have.
A lot of people feel the same way you do. get involved in some organization that will let you give to others..I promise..you will feel better after you help others.

Yea im like that too since im getting older. I Loved Christmas it was my favorite holiday. Now i just want to be able to spend it with someone i loved. When i was little it was all about SANTA and the presents. Waking up early in the morning. I would too happy to be able to sleep. Now its like Christmas haha right sleeping in!!! Its weird. I mean i like to get presents but its not as exciting when i was little. I mean i guess its because we are growing up. We want more then that. We want to spend it with a guy or gurl we love and want to marry and have kids and watch them be sooo happy to get there presents like we were when we were little. Its just part of growing up. I see what your talking about it,,, Its just weird huh?

LoL its a part of life everyone grows out of christmas! Dont worry bout it ur gettin older that lil stuff doesnt matter anymore jus look foward to tha gifts and all tha brgiht stuff and maybe it'll bring back a smile!

If your not in the christmas moods it probably because ur growing outta christmas...it gets kinda boring as u get older!
