Advice4teens answered Saturday November 13 2004, 10:46 am: All you have to do is type the lyrics in a search engine and it will probably bring up the song. As for what to play, listen to a popular radio station maybe on the bus or something and try to pick out what music people seem to enjoy and what they seem to hate. If you can't listen to music in a group of people then just listen to a radio station a lot of people like and see what songs you think are fun and upbeat. Ask your friends what they think of the song. You can also ask your friends to help you. Friends usually know what to listen to.

Greenday- Good Riddance (Time of your life)
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road.
Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go.
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why.
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time.
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
So take the photographs, and still frames in your mind.
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time.
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial.
For what it's worth, it was worth all the while.
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right.
I hope you had the time of your life.

MedicatedSanity answered Friday November 12 2004, 7:20 pm: I don't know who sings that but you can google those lyrics or any other lyrics to find who sings it...
watch MTV/Fuse and pick a couple punk, hip-hop, and rock songs. Nobody likes techno or country so stay away from that. Oh and you can alway go around to random people and ask them what their favorite bands are. Good luck!
P.S.... you probably shouldn't sign up for a job that you don't think you can do... being a "DJ" can be hard... especially for a high school dance. [ MedicatedSanity's advice column | Ask MedicatedSanity A Question ]
