This will make it grow faster and become healthier. Next, try massaging your scalp while you're shampooing and at night before bed. Also, flip your hair upside down and brush it three terms a day. Both of these increase blood flow to your scalp, which will make it grow faster. Finally, once it's grown out, go for a trim every 1-3 months so you don't get split ends.
I know a previous person said the trim thing was an old wife's tale but it's not...if you don't trim your split ends will grow out and make your hair limp and horrible.
Also, I've heard shampooing in cold water increases scalp blood flow, guess you could try that too.
Finally, if you need more help, the current issue of GL magazine has an article on growing your hair out.
sunshine1232 answered Friday November 12 2004, 6:10 pm: you should just let your hair grow long if you cut it. IT will just get shorter everytime you cut it it will probably take a while to grow but when it gets to the lengh you want it the whole thing will be worth it 100% trust me. It will not do anything to speed up growth. You just have to wait. On average your hair will grow about half and inch a month. I'm growing my hair out too. They do have pills and special shampoo and stuff but I doubt they actually work. Hope this helps. [ californiababy's advice column | Ask californiababy A Question ]
PerkyPeacock answered Friday November 12 2004, 5:19 pm: you can always get extensions. hair grows faster in the winter, there's some good news. other than that, eat well and keep healthy, you can't really make it grow faster.
Sherry answered Friday November 12 2004, 5:16 pm: Well if you trim it every month, trim not cut...It will grow because its more healthier that way. Or you could get extensions..Oh and go to a salon and let them thin your hair. [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]
