Stormbringer answered Friday October 22 2004, 8:54 am: Giving your kittens Tylenol would be the WORST thing to do. I would suggest going to the vet or even a pet store and see what they can reccomend for your kittens. Kittens are not suppossed to consume human medicine. It could really affect their health in a negative way. Kittens don't take human medicine just like humans don't take cat medicine. [ Stormbringer's advice column | Ask Stormbringer A Question ]

silentkate answered Friday October 15 2004, 6:57 pm: No! Tylenol contains acetaminophen which is even more toxic to cats than aspirin(aspirin is extraordinarily easy to overdose in cats). Never give a cat medications that are intended for either human or animal consumption without the approval of your veterinarian. [ silentkate's advice column | Ask silentkate A Question ]
~*Annie*~ answered Friday October 15 2004, 5:55 pm: No that was specifically designed for humans, if you do your kitty will get sick :) you might wanna talk to a vet before doing anything. [ ~*Annie*~'s advice column | Ask ~*Annie*~ A Question ]
MoonFisher answered Friday October 15 2004, 3:30 pm: No. Tylenol is poisonous to animals. You CAN give them aspirin, but it needs to be a VERY TINY amount, like maybe an 8th of a tablet. You need to call the local vet and ask them about it. They can give you an appropriate answer. [ MoonFisher's advice column | Ask MoonFisher A Question ]
hailebop answered Friday October 15 2004, 12:24 pm: That doesn't sound like a good idea. Even if it's okay to give the drug, you'd have no real idea of what dosage would be appropriate. It just isn't worth risking giving your pet an overdose - take it to the vets if your worried, and see what they have to say about medication. If they say it's okay and give you some dosage guidlines, then go ahead, but until then I'd err on the cautious side. [ hailebop's advice column | Ask hailebop A Question ]
pinklemonadestand answered Friday October 15 2004, 12:03 pm: I agree with Christine but just also go and talk to your kitten's vet! Good Luck and i hope your Kitten gets better!
Christine answered Friday October 15 2004, 11:59 am: you can if you want them to die. I mean they can have it in little chunks in their food. But not whole. I give my dogs tylenol.
MFS answered Friday October 15 2004, 11:02 am: I would highly recommend not doing that until you've consulted with a vet. Some medicines that people can take are leathal to animals. Get an expert's opinion on this. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
