OxaBeRcHiCkxO answered Wednesday August 18 2004, 5:23 pm: aww...heres what happened...u didnt put it in all the way...you have to make sure u get the WHOLE aplicator in there...and then u push it up and make sure it is WAY in there...it isnt supposed to stick out at all...and if u do let it stick out then it will fall out...
SeXyLaCi_XoX answered Wednesday August 18 2004, 3:48 pm: Hmm, that never happened to me before, and I cheered for 4 years in highschool. Tampons are not suppose to stick out at all. I don't think you had it in correctly. Are you putting the applicator all the way in you up till the finger grip spot? Then are you keeping it in and pushing the other tubing up? If so I don't know why yours sticks out 2 centimeters. It could of been filled up with blood already and it slid out because it was full. I'm not quiet so sure. Maybe you should try it again and make sure its not sticking out at all. Hope I helped! If you need anything else let me know!
alisonmarie answered Wednesday August 18 2004, 3:04 pm: Okay. You know how a tampon applicator is two parts - the top which you insert, and the bottom which you push in? The bottom of the inserting part should have ridges; pinch those with your fingers while you gently push the applicator in. When you finger bump up against your vagina, then push in the plunger.
When a tampon is correctly inserting, you shouldn't be able to feel it. It also cannot fall out, as your vaginal muscles will hold it in. If you can feel the tampon, hold the string with one hand and gentle use one finger to push it futher inside of you.
Tampons are tricky, but with practice you'll get the hang of them. Take your time when you're inserting them, make sure they are fully inserted - only the string should hang out, and change them regularly. [ alisonmarie's advice column | Ask alisonmarie A Question ]
xo_dream answered Wednesday August 18 2004, 2:12 am: Yeah, it's probably the best thing to wear for cheer practice. But they're not supposed to stick out at all, except for the string. If you could feel it + it was sticking out, you probably had it in wrong. Just look at the instructions in the box next time you use one, + make sure it's all the way in, and it should be just fine =) [ xo_dream's advice column | Ask xo_dream A Question ]
S_C answered Tuesday August 17 2004, 8:14 pm: yea, as long as you don't keep it in too long.
No, the only thing that should stick out is the string
You shouldn't feel it at all
And either it was too small or you put it in wrong
If it was too small, then get a larger one, and if it was the largest, then you weren't ment to wear tampons, belive it or not, some people just can't wear them [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
AquamarineRose answered Tuesday August 17 2004, 7:59 pm: -Yes,it's alright to wear a tampon anytime and that includes cheer practice.
-No,the tampon itself is't supposed to stick out at all.Only the string.
-And you mentioned you didn't FEEL it in you. When wearing a tampon you shouldn't feel it at all.
-Help wise just stick the tampon farther up.(Until you don't feel it.)Once you do that you shouldn't find it in your underwear. [ AquamarineRose's advice column | Ask AquamarineRose A Question ]

Try putting it closer to the whole and then pushing it in. U shouldnt be able to feel it AT ALL if uve got it in far enuff.
Hope I helped!! If u need anything else.. just drop one in the inbox!!
charmed-cherry21 answered Tuesday August 17 2004, 7:28 pm: Yes it is alright. No it shouldnt hang out 2 centimeters the string should be the only thing hanging out side meaning if you take you underwear off and look in the mirror standing up all you should see is string.*Haleigh Ann* [ charmed-cherry21's advice column | Ask charmed-cherry21 A Question ]
Karen answered Tuesday August 17 2004, 7:27 pm: Yep, you can wear them to cheerleading practice. The reason why you couldn't feel it in you anymore is because you didn't put it in all the way. You can't feel tampons inside of you when they are in. Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
LiLPiNkfLiRts1230 answered Tuesday August 17 2004, 7:25 pm: Well it depends on how long you've been wearing tampons... They are not supposed to stick out; you probably just put it in wrong. The string is the only thing that would be showing. If you did put it in right, it would've stayed, and not been just laying in your panties. If you needed help doing that, and you don't want to go to another person, you could read the instructions in the box. They really do help!
