babysitter?
I think I wanna start babysitting. How do I get people to want me to babysit? what should I charge? I dont have a red cross liscence thing for babysitting either. I donr know what to do. Please help

That's awesome that you want to start babysitting! If you attend a church or temple, you could perhaps post ads for your babysitting services on a message board-make sure to include your name, phone number, age, and ages of children you will babysit. Also get the message out to friends who babysit-if they are scheduled to babysit, and become ill or have something else come up, make sure they know that you could take their place! Also, just get the word ut to friends and neighbors! The going rate for babysitters is between 4-5 dollars. Ask friends and family what they charge in your area! To start babysitting this is what i did i first took a red cross training camp it helped me bunches you can probaly find an add about it in the newspaper i did it at my church and to get people to want to babysit you should ask your mom or dad to ask some friends if they have young children and need a babysitter that always helps too!!!

Well you may want to put up signs in your area/town or if you have any relatives close by that work with adults who have young kids get them to ask. Dont worry about the cost cuz most parents will do that part ! Hope i helped!! <3

go take a red cross class ... that'll spread the word cuz in that class u make ads. for urself n u post em on a wall usually...or make some business cards n at a local restaurant (here ne waY) they have bulliten boards so u can put ur ads n stuff there...or get an ad in the paper!! hope i helped!!

i dont think you need a liscence if you know the person your babysitting for. they need to trust you tho. putting up signs around ur neighborhood is a really good way to start.

You should take a red cross babysitting course, it helps ;). Once you do that, then you can make flyers and business cards. Post the flyers around your town and have your parents give out business cards at their work. How much you charge depends on how many kids you are babysitting each time. You should charge between 2.50-5.00 and hour. The more kids and the younger the kids are (more care) the more you charge. Put your first name, phone number, that you are certified by red cross, and how much you charge. Don't put your last name or address. I hope I helped ya!

Get your parents to get the word out. That helps and make fliers. Put some ads in the paper if it's not too expensive.

You should definitely look into taking a class at your local hospital so you can show your clients you are an authorized babysitter!! If you want people to hire you post signs all over the neighborhood with permission of course ...ask your family members if they ever need a babysitter than your their girl!! You can charge by the hour or just charge a reasonable amount for your services ...such as i charge 20 or 25 dollars for all the work i did!!

Well you should post flyers at parks, recreation areas, or at mail boxes. Leave your name, age, price per hour, phone number, and adress and I'm sure someone will find you! Best wishes :)

put an ad in the paper or make flyers. show people that u are responsible and want to babysit. say u like playing with kids n what not . tell them of past expereionce even if its just playing or watching your relatives and dont be shy

Hello =) First, I would reccomend taking a Red Cross training coarse. Then, I would make flyers to send around to your whole neighborhood. Hopefully, you have a neighborhood directory to you know which houses has kids.
