PaperHeartsX3 answered Saturday May 22 2010, 1:51 am: All I can say is good luck, and you need a lot of hair spray. lol
I have thick hair, but mine is also very straight, and it's really hard to curl or make wavy. I have been able to though in the pass.
To make it curl, I use a curling iron and TONS of hair spray.
And wavy, like a scrunch look? after I get out of the shower, I braid my hair in tiny braids all over my head, and go to sleep. In the morning when it's dry, I just undo the brains and it makes it wavy, and I just spray it with hair spray. :) [ PaperHeartsX3's advice column | Ask PaperHeartsX3 A Question ]
XoXMeLiSsA13XoX answered Tuesday August 10 2004, 11:08 pm: when you get out of the shower (this will take some time) put some gel in ur hair... not loads butnot barly any, and scrunch it until it dries, or use a hairdryer on low and scrunch while you blow dry, also get the conair curling iron with the swirly thing like i donno how to explain it, like the curling part has a swirl so your hair goes in it, curl it and make it spiral, dont hold it horazontally, hold it vertical and spray some hairspray on it.. that always helps.. if ya need anything else holla!! x0x_l_iNnOcEnCex_l_x0x answered Saturday August 7 2004, 3:32 pm: Alrighty. Scrunching is a good idea if you want really really hard hair. I don't like it when my hair feels like a bag of rocks, so I suggest either gettin a perm, or scrunching it without gel so it doesn't get hard. You can wear curlers overnight (they take forever to put in, i know) or can use large spiral curling irons to make your hair super curly. Most of this stuff is gonna cost money, but good luck. =) [ x0x_l_iNnOcEnCex_l_x0x's advice column | Ask x0x_l_iNnOcEnCex_l_x0x A Question ]
Dont_Fall_Twice answered Saturday August 7 2004, 3:24 pm: I have kinda like half wavey, half straight hair... So I like to wear it both curly and straight... When I wear it curly... I have this curling gel... you can get anywhere that sells hair supply.. and put it in when its wet and brushed out... .and scrunch your hair... Sometimes its good to scrunch with a wash cloth to advoid frizzyness :) Hope that can help
awwshucks25 answered Saturday August 7 2004, 2:58 pm: i have the same kind of hair as you..you should get the frizz-ease stytling gel and the wind down. when your hair is wet put in the corrective styling gel and when it gets damp put in the wind-down and then blow dry and your hair will be curly and it will look oh so pretty! lol
