im still bleeding... why?
I had sex 5 days ago, and im still bleeding from it. at first i thought maybe it was just my period, so i treated it as that. my period only lasts for 4 days, so i dont think its that.
Is there something i could have had torn during sex that would cause me to bleed this long?

You obviously have some concern about why you are bleeding, and I think you are right to be thinking about it. Some spotting or bleeding is commong after losing your virginity (or the first few times you have sex), but extended period-like bleeding is not.
Chances are that, given time, your skin will heal...but chances are still chances. You need to go see a gyno who can double-check your vagina and make sure everything is okay. Once you start having sex, you need to have yearly gyno exams anyway - so start now.

periods can be irregular...so just bc u normally only have it for 4 days,doesnt mean itll ALWAYS last tht amount of time. its prly what it is. if it doesnt stop soon, see a doc

i dont think you have been torn. my friend bled for over a week and it wasnt her period. you are fine, dont worry about it.

It's probably just your period being odd. If it lasts more than like, 1O-12 days, I'd see a doctor about it.

Hun it is probably your period! You period can last anywhere between 3-8 dayz. It will change and you could have torn something but i dbout it!

Well im a guy but i'll see what i can do. Ok first off you may have injuried yourself. meaning the guy was just alil to rough. or it maybe some type of virus (i dn about the virus one its more than likely he was just to rough). Also if it was your first time "Popping your cherry" May cause some bleeding but prob. not for 5 days. ok well i hope i could help

Maybe this period is lasting a little longer than your usual ones. Sometimes periods can be irregular and some may last longer or shorter. If that's the case it's perfectly normal. I don't think if having sex had anything to do with it, but either way you should definitely tell your mother and see a doctor.

It may be that he popped your cherry... I don't think it would make you bleed that much though.. it might just be your period, or it could be that.
