well when u start 2 see ur chest growing u probably should talk 2 ur mom about getting a bra. I got my first when i was in 4th grade. And ur boobs shouldnt effect guys staring at u or getting dates or anything!

well you need to get one if you are starting to develope and if you are them get one!!But on the guy thing yeah alot of times guys stair if you got big ones but thats not the right reason to date a guy though just because he likes your boobs!!

Talk to your mom about when you think you should have a bra. I had mine in 4th grade so I was like 10 or so. I don't know that bras help you get boyfriend, but right now you are too young for boys. Boys are fun to look at, but there is a whole host of things that need to be considered.
There is nothing wrong with a trainer bra or a sports bra. You absolutely need to be sure to get the correct fitting bra or you can have back problems. There are many different types, and your mom or a female adult can help you decide. Somtimes it is trial and error. I used to wear elastic, then I changed to underwire, and now I like slick comfortable ones. There are also bras to wear with different items such as tank tops or dresses. It can be really overwhelming. Good luck.

well it depnds becasue if you are small chested then you realyl dont need oen but it is alwasy good becuase if you play sports oyu always want to wear one cuase it just hurt if you get hit there with out one and yeah it doesn somtiems make guy slook more but thats only becasue they are pervs in way but w/e do what you think is best

There is no certain age. Basically whenever you can't run without having uncomfortable jiggling. Or earlier, if you are so inclined or if you need to change in a shared changing room and don't want everyone to see you.
It does not help to get you a boyfriend of to get attention of guys. You get more attention by not wearing a bra when you badly need one.

Ya but i think you should start out wif a trainer bra.O and never ever wear a sports bra unless you are doin a sport or excerciesing or sumthin.Never get a bra that is too small or too big.Make sure you fill it well.Wearin a bra doesnt really help u get a boyfriend.Guys will stair if you have BIG boobs tho.

a good time to get a bra is when they start to jiggle. I don't know about the whole staring thing if a bra helps all , When you have boobs guys will stare with or without a bra. Especially if you have a white shirt on, haha. hope that helps.

If your nipples show through your shirt, that means you need a bra. Most girls get their first bra when they are 11 or 12. Some get it earlier. It doesn't really get boys to stare, unless you wear a push up bra, but when you're 12 years old, you really shouldn't wear one. Also, don't stuff your bra. People WILL find out. And really, do you want a boyfriend who would just like you for your boobs? ok I'm done now.

I'll put it to you like this my little sister is 9 and she wears a bra.So you might want to think about going bra shopping with your mom....PRONTO. But if you don't feel ready then thats ok.But being since you are going into what 6th? Maybe 7th grade?You might want to invest in one.I wouldn't say it "helps" you getting a boyfriend. And they don't stare more but you might really want to ponder wearing a bra at your age.Talk to your mom she'll help you to decide.

ur age is perfect!! and it doesnt really get guys to stare or anything because it doesnt *enhance* your boobs or anything unless you get a padded bra then you might get a lil attention..but i suggest that you dont get a padded bra as your first bra because you should just respect your body now because it will grow very quickly! *hope i helped!* <3/Dakota

12 is definitely time to get a bra. You don't want any of the other girls in gym class to see your boobs when you change. And you shouldn't want your boobs showing through your shirt because you will be embarrassed. As for guys looking at you more, no they won't, unless you get a padded bra or something, but then they wouldn;t be your real boobs. Good Luck! :)
