Seating Arrangements

I am currently a first year university student. I have a problem with a talkative person that always comes to sit next to me during lectures. It is extremely annoying to have someone talk during a lecture, especially to you. It is also annoying to have people in the lecture give you dirty looks for 'disrupting' everything when you haven't said a word at all. That is besides the point. I am wondering what possible things can I do to keep this person from talking or sitting next to or near me? I have tried to be nice, and I have tried to be rude and forward - neither works. I have explicitly told this person that they need to shut up so I can listen and they responded, "Ok but just listen to this..." It is beyond the point of frustr...

ok here is the thing my parents have been divorced for 8 years now and my dad got remarried like 2 years ago and i am fine wit that bcuz i like his wife. But now my mom has started datin this guy that is 18 years younger then her and i don't like him like at all and what makes me really mad is that my family is straped for money and there r some things i NEED and my mom goes and buys the guy random expensive gift just bcuz he likes it. And she drives 2 hours back and forth 2 pick him up just 2 spend the night wit him and "talk" (he doesn't have a car right now) and that is wastin alot of our money in gas. just how can i tell my mom how i feel and isn't that ur parents shoul...

I am 42,male, my brother is 50 married with one son.
My brother recently(9 months ago) won £4.5 million UK pounds on the lottery. My Question is this, he sent me a copy of him receiving the cheque and that is it, I considered us to be pretty close prior to his win, but all i feel now is bitterness, not jealousy, which i can imagine people would say i am. just bitter, i always said and still maintain that i would help my family out if such a windfall should fall on me, am i wrong to feel this emotion or should i be angry, I am really struggling with this so constructive answers would, i hope help me to come to terms with this,

rumers ruining my life

so this one guy ((who is sumwhat popular)) asked me if i wanted to give him head and i said no.. and the next day he spread sooo many rumers about me its crazy. ((he doesnt go to my school)) so alot people at 3 different Jr highs believe the rumers he is spreading ((like ive had buttsex and im not a virgin)) and what hurts is people believe it. over the past few months ive been crying myself to sleep, depressed, suicidal, and have lost about 10 friends. ive been known to take chances and be very outgoing so when i tell people it is rumers they wont believe me! people ive never herd of hate me. is there ANYTHING i can do to stop them!?!

my boyfriend has been a real jerk lately. we planned to go see the grudge last friday and he backed out because he had no money. i found out why he had no money for the movies was because he bought weed with the money he had. he told me he stopped smoking weed 2 weeks ago. also, we went to the mall and he just sat with his friends n whispered n laffed n ignored me. i was like "call me tonight" wen we left and he wasl ike okay i will i promise. and he didnt. he didnt call all day saturday either. and today hes surpose to come over to go trick or treatin with all of our friends. but i still havent heard a word from him. should i call him n see if hes still coming? or just forget bout it and go out with my gurls?

okay.. im 15 and i have never had a b/f. when i am around all my friends that have/had one i feel jealous. what can i do to make that stop. i cant find anyone whom i like because my school is so small (180 kids...3:1 ratio of girls to guys)
