i am 13. but i look like im 15. i want to get my belly botton peirced, and my mom will let me. but i still think im too young to get it dun. im almost dun growing...so im not sure about getting it done or not and if it will hurt. please help.. i rate

Have you looked around and gotten any information on any of the piercing places around your area? In my state, you are not legally allowed to get any body piercings unless you are 16, even with your parent with you.
If the laws where you live do not allow you to get a piercing at 13, then I would not suggest getting it done. Here's why I wouldn't suggest it: any place that will go against the law is not very proffesional. There are a lot of things that can be screwed up when you get any body piercing, and when you get your belly button pierced, there is a chance that they could hit a vien. There is a chance you could get seriously screwed up if they dont' know what they're doing. If they're not very proffesional, then there's a huge chance that they don't know what they're doing. Basically, I am just saying that you need to research the piercer that you want to go to when you get this done. If your able to, talk to other people who have gone to different peircing salons, ask them how clean they are, how well they explain the piercings, how straight their piercings came out, etc.
The pain is quite bad compared to other peircings, but it is also different with different people. It might not hurt for you as much as it hurt for me.
Oh, and I want to add, that I don't think your almost done growing. I'm 21 and still growing, I doubt at 13 you would be almost done growing.

I personally think you should wait till you actually are 15 but being 13 is fine. It only hurts for a little bit and if you want to just go for it.

Only get it if you want it done, If you think youre too young then dont do it. I have mine done n I love it. It only hurts for a couple seconds when its being peirced, its just a lil pinch. Just make sure you clean it well. Goodluck. xOx

Well, if you don't think you're ready, then wait a bit before you get it. It is supposed to hurt, but I've talked to a couple of people and they've all varied in telling me by how much. It is also very easily infected.

i think u should wait at least a year. it does hurt my friend got it peirced and she was hurting and was sore. if u do get plz don't peirce it urself u can infected.

its gonna hurt a bit and i personally think that you shouldnt get it done at this age. no offense, its just that some people think that young people gettin belly peircings look like sluts, when their not. I think u should wait until your certain since your mom is letting you do it! my mom would freak! lol hope i helped!

My friend was 13 when she got hers done. It looks really cute. It's really not a big deal as to what age you are when you get it peirced. I know an 11 year old that got hers done. It does hurt... make sure you have advil handy and an ice pack. I was with my friend when she got it done and she squeezed my hand pretty damn hard. So yeah, it does hurt but after a week you'll be fine. You have to make sure you follow the directions that they give you as to how to clean it or else it might get infected!! Hope this helped! I'm 13 and I do look older too. I want my belly buttton pierced soooo bad too. But my friend got it done and she said it really hurts after they do it because it becomes sore. It takes about 6 months til your belly button heals after getting it pierced. I personally think its not to young to get it done but some other people do. It depends on when you want to get it done. :)

I think that you should still wait a while because you most likly are still developing and growing in deifferent ways..and its ganna hurt if you poke a hole in your body so it will probably hurt a little..unless you can handle pain unlike myself lol ya I hope I helped! Love-Andie
