Scoliosis Surgery

I am 17, female. I have scoliosis. I haven't been to the doctor for it at all. But it is to the point where it is clearly visible if i wear a tight shirt. Its on my right side and i have a pretty big rib hump because of it. My dad hasn't said anything (even though it's noticable) and i haven't mentioned anything about it either. I know that its probably only going to get worse but I just want some information/feedback/similar stories or something. I don't know what to say to my dad because I don't want to have to wear a back brace to school, I don't want to be taken out of school if surgery is needed, nor do I think we can afford any of that anyways. So I just don't know what to do, anything helps. Thanks

sooo im almost 15 and my parents never let me do anything. i live with my dad and his gf, and shes a control freak. whatever she says my dad goes along with and if i dont listen to her then she starts taking away all my fave stuff. she even goes through my phone everyday and reads every single txt message...and if i delete them, she gets online and reads them! its like i cant even go to the bathroom by myself! but anyway, i cant go anywhere with my friends, i cant ever hang out with my bf unless their with me the whole time watching my every move, i cant even ride in the car with my cousin or go anywhere with anybody without me having to calling them like every half hour telling them what im doing, what time ill be home, and blah blah blahh...

i have a couple of friends who hang out with this guy i like they know i like him i feel jealous and hurt cuz they have a lot of fun with him and he talks to them and pays more attention than he does to me theres nothing romantic going on but still they get to hang out with him and i dont and im the one that likes him what do i do?

I have been friends with him for a year, he is real nice and funny. I text him all the time and real enjoy talking and hanging with him. I sent a forward that said if you could ask me a question what would it be? He asked if I like him I don't want to say yes because I don't want to ruin are friend ship and I am super shy about this kind of things. I haven't even told my friends yet. But part of me wants to say yes. I don 't know how to deal with this.I am a 13 year old girl.

I am currently in college and I am undecided major. I have given my future career a lot of thought and I know that I want to do something involving a laboratory. My entire family and extended family are associated with the medical field, so it is basically in my blood to be surrounded by medicine and research. My aunt and uncle are doctors, however I wish to be the medical researcher. I need help coming up with career choices which would fit the criteria of being in a laboratory and doing research. I was either thinking pharmacy or forensic science (I've always wanted to be a detective and I am interested in the law department).
Would anyone be willing to help me out with my career problem and their inputs and/or recommendations? Thank you!

17/f All right so, I HAAAAATE sharing food. Loathe it. Absolutely drives me up the wall! But, I am a female. I know it's all right if men eat a lot. I mean, they're dudes, eating is what they do. But, I'm a lady! A lot of my friends know full well to NEVER touch my plate. I've bitten a friend's hand before for stealing a handful of popcorn... XD But there are acquaintances of mine, who don't know me as well, who are known for mooching. As in, if you have food, they will beg like starving dogs. You may be able to guess, but moochers are my worst enemies. So to not be hypocritical, I never mooch or beg.
But, I always see girls sharing food with each other and laughing, and enjoying themselves. Or people sharing with their boyf...

I'm M/16. I feel l like I should give up on my plans and ideas for life. There is no point in trying to reach my goals. It seems like most of the people I know are fake, friends, girls I've liked, even my parents. At this point all I do is stay home and play games, and l'm starting to lose interest in games just like everything else. Then I walk around pretending everything is okay. I wasn't always like this. Hi, I'm searching online for cheap textbooks for my classes and I'm having a lot of trouble finding reasonable prices. Ive been to abebooks, chegg, and a few other sites but the used books are still disgustingly priced, and I'm not interested in renting. Do any of you know any other sites that will sell books for CHEAP, and not just say they're "cheap". I don't care if the book is falling apart as long as I can read the print. I just cant afford anything else. Thanks..

Hi, I am 24 and love one girl I want to marry her but my parents are not allowing us to do. We were in the relationship from more than two years but we never did Sex she want a promise from my side but I cannot give a promise to her because I cannot leave my parents too. and according to me I prefer family first. I told her everything about us and now we are not in the relationship and she value my decision but I really miss her a lot, I tried to forget her but not any other girl is taking her position in my mind.
Please advice me am I on the right direction or not should I forget her and give a priority to my parents or should I accept her after leaving my parents, This is not possible that my parents will agree with this relationship.

Hey,
okay so me and my ex broke up over a year ago.
Since then he went back to his ex,then broke up again. Then got another gf and split up. Now he fancies some other girl.
However, we met up the other day at college and he seemed into me. But on fb it's obvious he likes this new girl. Basically there is an agreement we are 'friends' and he gave me a christmas card.
Should I delete him off facebook? Because basically I keep on getting hurt-but then I don't want to look like a cow :/
