My mum and dad have had one of those 'loveless' relationships and now they have separated but theyre still living together. From what Ive been told my mum only married my dad because she was 31 and wanted to have kids. They were together for ages before they married.
My dad didnt treat my mum that good and when it came to bringing us up he left it down to her. He would never really look after us.
Anyways my mum told me that she started seeing her 'highschool sweetheart'. I dont know if theyre actually together together. I kinda had my suspitions before.
My mum asked if I would like to meet him. I said I didnt know. I told my boyfriend about the situation and he said why did u say that for, you shouldn't see him. My bro...

ok. I almost lost my home yesterday because of a huge flood. and i was to call my "best friend" on the phone. and this is the conversation.
me: hey
her:hey I heard about the flood
me: yeah, they might not let us back in our houses for 2-3 months.I'm basicly homeless.
her:oh well I have 2 friends over and I don't want to be rude
me: *scoffs* yeah ok bye
her:bye
....there were only two friends of mine that said "hey well if you need a place to live you can come here" if my "friend" was actually my friend why did she blow me off in my time of need?

I think there should be a requirement on this website saying "PEOPLE SHOULD BE FAMILIAR WITH A TOPIC BEFORE SUBMITTING THEIR PERSONAL OPINIONS". Frankly, I feel this is a helpful and useful site. But far to often, people are excercising their "freedom of speech" rights, and disguising their opinions as bonifide advice.
What set me off was a question asked by a friend of a gay male teen. A large majority of the answers were hateful diatribes delivered by self-righteous homophobes. From the advice you would of thought that her friend had leaprosy. Life is too short to HATE.

I have SUPER straight hair and have been wanting to curl it! I dont want the wet look like scrunching with gels. I mean with a curling iron.. Any ideas? Thanks!

I don't want to sound weird but my school keeps their heat so high and I sweat alot- I've tried alot of deodorants but it really doesn't help with the horrible heat in the school! It's still a bit brisk outside- does anyone have any ideas on how to stay cool, especially after gym and not to have nasty sweatmarks underneath my arms? Thanks!

Does anyone know if Gwen Stefani or Jessica Simpson will be doing meet and greets or promotions in the area [NYC, NY, NJ, PA, CT] where you can meet them and get their autograph or w/e.. I've been looking all over and I know that sometimes radio stations and some stores do promos. Thanks!

You know those tops that kinda like.. have a little connected sweater thingie that tie in a knot? Does anyone know where I can find one inexpensively online? Hollister used to have them, but the site no longer carries them. Thanks!

I was in Disney like 5 years ago, and I was wondering- what do you think is the best place of interest in that area? Like Epcot, Universal, Disney, or should I make it a point to maybe visit all three?

Spring's here- not the best weather but it's here! What's the best tips on keeping a healthy garden [don't tell me about fertilizers!] and making it prospere to it's best? I usually have little tomato plants, zuchini, cucumbers, etc etc and I tried corn but it didn't work so well. I have a nice amount of space so if you know of anything that's easy and grows well please list. Thanks!

Can anyone explain to me why when I put my headphones on after I take a shower, why my ears would bother me that night or later that day? I think it's because of the wetness in my ear, but please answer anyway! Thanks.

New bf states he had unsatisfactory sex life with prior gf due to sex only once or twice a month. I have had to initiate all sex with him and wonder if I turn him on at all or what. Wet Seal has been my favortie store for a very long time, but recently they just shutdown a whole bunch of them, including the one in my area. Does anyone one know of any cool stores with fashion/clothes like Wet Seal?

My best friend and I got in fight like a month ago and it awas the stupidest fight ever I cant even remember what it was... well we kinda lost communication cause she just started ignoring me(and what sucks is we hang out with the same ppl so I will be standing next to her but we wont talk) and then like last week i was aim and we started apoligizing and got everything worked out... but at school its like we still arent friends cause i will be standing right next to her and we wont say one word... it feels really awkard... but i miss her so much and I dont know what to do I mean Ive told her how much I miss talking to her...
