Question Posted Sunday April 3 2005, 11:52 pm

Can anyone explain to me why when I put my headphones on after I take a shower, why my ears would bother me that night or later that day? I think it's because of the wetness in my ear, but please answer anyway! Thanks.

That's a good guess and what I thought too.
Moister in your ears. Make sure they are dried good and maybe keep hair out from under headphones as best you can until it dries :)

i bet if you put some rubbing alcohol in your ears or the swim ear in a bottle in your ears and let that evaporate all the water out, you wouldnt have a problem. if your headphones are the little ones that fit in your ear, then those might just cause irritation if you leave them in for a while. And, in my opinion i dont think those should be left in ears for too long.

Yeah, I think its like a little static shock because the electronics (headphones) touch the water..and you know...they start hurting or it hurts or whatever. So dry your ears real well! Or just wait a while after your shower before you listen to music.
