helping my guy friend

My guy friend and his girlfriend broke up, and he still likes her alot. She likes him still too but she doesnt want to get hurt and they will be going to different schools. My guy friend asked me to help him get through this because I'm the only one he can trust. I want to help him in any way I can because I want to be close with him. What should I say to him to make him feel better? Thank you so much!

ok so i like this boy, right? and he is really hot and sweet and i talk to him sometimes in spanish class. i really wish i could speed up the process of becoming pals...friends...and hopefully bf/gf. I dont want to seem to desperate or weird during this process. Do you have any tips to catch his eye or say to him?

I really need advice!! I really want a boyfriend for over the summer because it gives me something to look forward until school starts again and well a few guys like me that I would never go out with and the guy I like is taken so what should I do? help summer is almost here thanks I rate high!!

my hair is naturally black and i died it lightish brown and a couple of days ago i washed my hair but some color came out and my hair is darker .. on the box it said permanentt why is this happening?

theres this kid in my class and he has an imaginary mutant flesh devouring gelatinous spawn and he keeps telling me its not imaginary. one day, he invited me over and i saw it, there in front of me, was the monster that was the weirdest thing i ever saw and i havent been in school since then. (approximatly 6 days) i wasnt seeing things i actually FELT its gelatinous body and its fortress built underground help me it wasnt a dream what do u think i should do?

I have a friend and we used to be best friends, but now i dont want to hang out with her or anything because i've noticed that shes always making fun of me and trying to make me look bad so i dont want to hang out wit her but she always is making plans that include ME.
so how can i tell her that i dont want to hang out with her without hurting her feelings?

Girl at school.

Hmm well maybe I should start like this. I met this girl like 5-6 months ago and she was pretty cool so we became pretty good friends. Now after being with her at school and seeing her here and there after school, I finally figured out I like her a lot. She had a bf though, but he treated her like crap, he wouldnt ever talk to her or do things with her etc. So now she broke up with him and I'm not sure if she likes me or not but I dont want to ask her out because if she doesnt like me our friendship will suffer, and plus I dont usually like to ask people out.

I like this guy and I think that he's funny and in general a really nice and polite gentleman. But I don't know if he likes me, at first I did, but now I'm doubting it. He used to stare at me like all the time, but now I think that it is just wierd. Because whenever one of us are looking around we almost always lock eyes. And then we turn our heads away quickly. It's kind of funny. His sister is one of my good friends also and she invited me to go to church with her this weekend. I'm trying to get to know him more, but it is just hard for me. How can I work up the courage to talk to him? How can I find out if he likes me back? If he doesn't do you think he will one day? How do I become one of his good friends first? I've heard him talk to...

my dads mom dies today, and the sad thing is i didnt cry. noone in my family has ever died while i was living. im ot sure if it didnt hit me yet, or i just wasnt close to her. to be honest she annoyed me alot, always asking questions, being nosy. she was an alchoholic too. i just felt bad for my dad and thats what made me saddest. i feel guilty because i cant remember times where i liked to be with her. what am i supposed to do? is it bad to feel that way? should i talk to my friends about it?

Me and boyfriend have been going out for 5 months and 17 days. I guarantee im in love with him and hes the ONE. Im only 13 (goin on 14) but i honestly love him. The only problem is... my parents. They think im too young to be in love and everybody else says that too! Its sooo annoying and just wish they knew how me AND my boyfriend felt about each other. Thanks bunches...

letting down a friend

Ok so I'm in 8th grade and there is this 7th grader at my school who has a HUGE CRUSH on me. He's also extremely sweet and the nicest person to me and always wants a hug everytime i see him. He rates a day as good or bad by if he talked to me that day, then it's a good day. But it's starting to get annoying hugging him all the time. But if I tell him this he would be totally crushed. How do I tell him we need to hug eachother less? THANKS!!

As long as I could remeber and all my friends can agree ive looked the same ...ponytail and well obviously my cloths but i dont care about that( i go to a private school so i have to wear a unfiorm) so I think its time ofr a change, what are some things i could do with, bascily me and my hair that would be diffrent other than a pony tail. Nothing to drastic but just a change. If it helps i have shoulder length blounde hair. Thanks and please help!!!

Me and my best guy friend have been going out on and off again. when we first realized we liked each other it was awesome, we went out for a couple months, then dated around for one month, then we were back on for a few months and now we're off again. however it still feels like we're going out, he still says i love you and he comes over and we still do everything as if we were going out. but i ask him why dont we just go out with each other and he doesn't want to. it's not even that he's interested in other girls or anything. he tells me he just needs time, but why does he need time when we're still doing the same stuff?

Ive played volleyball for like 7 years. I played on a travel team for 4 years. Well my best friend startd playing volleyball last year. She's about 6'0 and coaches like her because shes soo tall. She played on the JV team last year. I'm not as tall..but i am still pretty good. Well the other day the varsity coach asked her to try out for vball and come to the varsity camp. I was shocked..our varsity team is like state champs..and she asked her to play! I know when ppl find out that shes made varsity and has only played for 1 yr and me playing vball for 7 is on JV again. How do i deal with this..i wish i played varsity..wat do i do?

Oral Presentation

I have to give an oral presentation in fron otthe whole class, but I suck at public speaking. I start getting really red and then i start to shake and I stumble over words. Right now I am absolutly terrified at the thought of giving a speech. What can I do to overcome this fear?
Please dont give me an answer that says "you will fail everytime"
