hand surgery

hey, i just had surgery on my hand and now i need to wear this splint for a month. the thing is that it doesnt protect my fingers. does anyone know a way to prevent my fingers from getting hit and broken? thanks a bunch!

ok so last january my boyfriend dumped me and i was so upset because i really loved him but now im going out with someone else and everytime like someone talks about who they are going out with and about going on dates and everything i dont think about my boyfriend i think about my ex-boyfriend and i think i really still love but i really like my boyfriend too and my ex-boyfriend has a girlfriend now and i know he definitley doesnt like me anymore because he doesnt even talk to me i just dont know what to do....help me please!!

I feel like I am seperated from my family by a million universes. We seem so distant. I can barely hold a conversation, and I can definately not sit in the room with them without feeling awkward. I am like the reject of the family while everyone else is together in a happy wonderland. Is there anything that I can personaly do to get closer to my family?

this is a bit strange... i was with my boyfriend at a movie on friday and i was turned on and everything but i wasnt wet. yesterday i was with a friend that i kinda like (we were with a group of friends) and when i went to the bathroom and was all over my thong. is this normal or did my mood affect it? thanks!

dear friends, well, will some intelligent grammar expert tell me, why in american english there is somtimes the omission of letter 'u' eg- color, neighbor etc, why are the pronounciations different, eg- schedule is pronounced as skedule instead of shedule ( are you getting me). please explain.

one of my friends ..kinda..had this boyfriend and i knew him..and not to long ago he got my sn from the myspace and he told me who he was and we started talking ..well they broke up like so long ago..and the thing is my cuzin nows him and my cuzin best friends with his ex .and he likes me and i like him ..we wanna go out but i'm not sure if we should since ..it might start dramma with her and my cuzin with all for of us . and hes like 2 years older and my cuzin would probably think thats nasty ...wat can i do ?

Ok theres this boy and were really close weve been friend forever and like in the last month we've get together. Hes so sweet and i dont know what id do with him. Today my ex asked me out and i told him and i also told him i told him no and he was like well speaking of things like that...my ex emialed me today. I didnt say anyting and he was like she had a tumor. But i guess they got it out. I told him he should go see her and he was like i was gonna ask you that cause i wanted to make sure it was ok with you. I really want to enter the NA Miss Competition in my state, but my parents are big anti-modeling and anti-cheerleading because they think it's a brainless thing that only focuses on the outside. They don't really know that this competition takes grace, poise, and intelligence to win, and it's not even focused on beauty. I really want to let them know, but they have EXTREMELY closed minds about things like that. If I mention the word "model" in front of my mother, she flips out and gives me her anti-modeling speech. My parents are from a rigid family that believes in moral values and modesty, and there is only that in this competition. How can I show them that I want to be in this competition and open their minds to it?

I got over somebody perhaps two weeks ago and decided to move on with my life. Moving on materialized in a new matter with a friend of a friend, and we started going out. At the same time everything else in my life has been going awry, and I don't feel attracted to this person anymore. I'm extremely confused right now, but if I break up with him I'll hurt his feelings and since he's part of the circle, my friends will make me feel bad about it forever. I'm beginning to think I have no sexuality at all, and he wants to do so much stuff. I just feel like getting away from him, not that I don't like him as a person. His attempts at romance only succeed in making me sick to my stomach with self disrespect.

ok i really hate the way i look and i wanna make myself pretty and actually believe in myself. i have wavy dirty blonde hair a little under my shoulders,blue eyes, freckles that i hate they make me really ugly, and like i have no curves, and i keep getting zits, i just want to be able to look at myself and think im pretty. please help me! i rate high!

ok i asked if your ovaries, kidneys, or your appendix could get damaged from something going up your vagina. My back has been hurting (where my kidneys are) but sometimes it hurts in the front of my body. I should be having my period pretty soon, so that could be a cause. but, since my kidneys are hurting and they both started hurting at the same time im thinking this is connected. but anyways, do you think its my kidneys that are causing this pain? or do you think its from damage to my ovaries? could it be both? what would cause my kidneys to get hurt or infected? can they fix themselves? i really dont want to go to the doctor and get surgery or anything. i also have a red spot on my left side where it has been hurting. its kind of a bump ...

15/f--i've been dating my boyfriend for nearly the entire school year and we're INCREDIBLY close. however...i'm not a big fan of kissing. Its great fun on the neck or ear...but just frenching or long kisses on the lips...its gross, and i feel like i'm drowning. i don't know if its just something i'm doing wrong, or if he's not a good kisser...or that's just how things are supposed to go and somehow i'm the only person in the world who finds this disgusting. :-/ please let me know what it might be, and anything i could do to help this situation! thanks <3
