Sperm active or not?

My boyfriend and I are having a debate about whether or not sperm is still active when it hits the air. Sometimes after we have sex (we use a condum) sperm will be on me or him and he worries that it will travel into my vagina and make me pregnant. I've always heard that once sperm hits the air it's dead. Who's right?

Questions about Proactive

I just ordered Proactive and it should be to my house by Wednesday. My question is that does it work for clogged pores, too? I know its supposed to work for pimples but i have so many white heads and blackheads on my chin nose and fore head, and i wanted to know if proactive clears that up, too. Another question of mine is, how long does the bottles last for? I think i sent out a check for only 3 items...i heard that they send 3 new bottles every month to my house for free but that sounds weird. And i dont wanna spend 45 dollars every month on this stuff, and especially if it takes like a week to be delivered. Im so confused. Will someone help me please??! THankS!!!!!!

Hair

Is it true that hair grows twice as fast in the summer? and i know it grows half an inch a month,but if it was summer then would it grow and inch a month? my hair is a little lower than my sholders,its summer now so how much will it have grow at the end of August? [[i got it cut i in mid- late june i think ]]

volleyball or vacation???

Tryouts for my school's volleyball team start the week before school starts. My mom also works a lot and the only week she has off is that same week, so she planned for our family and her cousin and my cousins to all go to my grandparents lake for that week. I'm in 8th grade, and last year I made B team, so its not like volleyball is all I do. I also go to the lake every year, so its not like I'll never be there again... and if I miss tryouts I can't play at all. Should I go on vacation or stay and play volleyball????

This previous year I was new to a school and made friends with all seniors. Now, that im a senior and they all graduated, i dont know ONE person. I'm not exactly good at making friends, i was lucky enough to meet them last year. (People at my school have already formed their cliques and dont really accept anyone.) I used to be extremely outgoing and have tons of friends at my old school, but im a completely different person now that im in an unfamiliar place. So now that school is coming up, im not sure what to do the first couple weeks of school. I know it'll take time before i make friends, because thats just me. So in the meantime, do I just sit by myself during lunch and hope that someone will come up to me? I'd rather be the one to go ...

hair color

i'm gonna get my hair colored again pretty soon. my hair color is brown and i have blonde highlights but they're already grown out. should i get highlights again or dye it another color do something differnt? i'm tan & i have brown eyes if that matters. i rate thanks a bunch

Well let me start from the very begining. I have a sister who is older then me and she was very shy and didnt have alot of friends growing up especialy no guy friends! Well I am different and I have more guy friends then I do girls! My parents are really picky though and they dont want me to like hang out with guys especialy if its one on one. They say they cant trust me and that I wear to much make up. Well I dont wear to much and If I didnt wear makeup I wouldnt go out! because I am very self concious. Also I like guys and how the heck and I suposed to have a relationship if my parents wont let me! I mean im 14 Im going into highschool and obviously I want to date! I feel like sense my sister wasnt like me they are being way to hard on me...

my b/f called while me and my fam were away this weekend. he left a message it said stuff like, "i miss u so much, i lve u babe, we have to get together and do it again some time." i was so embarressed than i listen to it again it didn't sound like him. I never "did" anything with him. he kissed me like once but that was it. i know i should call but i don't want to cause i'm waaaaaaaaaaaaay to shy. somebody please!. i'm soooooo upset cause it might have been a prank call, my parents are freaking out, i'm freaking out and i've goptten myself soooo upset i've throwen up. I have no way to trase the call cause my grandma called after. I'M ONLY 13! my parents won't even LET me date yet!please some one.

seeking help from a fellow advice columnist

Earlier today I was felting a slipper. As you're supposed to do, I shrunk it in the wash so it would turn to felt. But it shrunk too much. It was too narrow. I'm really sad and frustrated because I spent a month knitting this gargantuan slipper and it doesn't fit! Is there any way I oould possibly make it wider? I'll rate 5's for any reasonable answer somebody please help me!!!
