I think maybe just do highlights again. Considering you are tan and have brown eyes your brown hair more than likely fits you so therefore dying it a different color may look wierd but it may also look good but I just think stick with highlights

hmm my cousin had brown hair. she died it all blonde once, & it looked horrible. blonde highlights always look good. what she also tried once that looked good was, she did like different shades of brown in her hair. it was pretty. so maybe you could try that if you want to try something new.

Well, try something different :) I think you should get something thats temporary, and if you dont like it it can wash out. And if you do like it you can get it permemnant! Well i think you should get blonde highlights againt or you could make a drastic change, and go dark brown, like an espresso[[sp?.. its a nice color its like the coffe "espresso"]] color It looks really pretty. And if you want, you can dye your whole head dark brown and get lighter brown hight lights! that would look SOOO GOOD!! well you decide, and i think you should ask your friends about it cuz they no what you look like :)

Perhaps answered Sunday July 17 2005, 5:01 pm:
Your skin tone and eyes matter quite a bit so thanks for including them :). An important thing to keep in mind with hair is maintenance. If you go blonde again, you'll have to make regular visits to the salon to avoid unsightly roots. Also the kind of highlights you get are a factor. Obvious streaks are not in vogue much anymore, when it comes to color a relaxed natural looking color is what's popular. So if you're tan and dark eyed the blonde you go for should be a warmer tone, more of a honey color and opposed to a pale or cool blonde that can look unnatural. Also it helps to have varying shades of blonde highlights weaved into the hair not just one color.

Another option is to embrace your lovely brunette roots and go all dark, but perhaps add an overall sheen by using a slightly chestnut brown or a lighter brown than your natural color. Either way it helps to find a reputable salon in your area and look for a colorist who
1. Has hair you like
2. Has a similar coloring to you (eyes, skin, etc)

They'll know what's best for you most likely. Hope that helps :) .
