how to get popup blocker

what are some really good popup blockers that are for free and work real good.. there are ALOT of popups on my computer

Not sure if anyone already suggested this. But stopzilla is an amazing pop up blocker. I use it, and get like one if that pop up a day!!! Theres a 3o day free trial.. and then if you enjoy it you should buy it. 2o$ for a lifetime. its worth it =)

You could try out the Maxthon browser. Here's the link:

I use it and I love it. It's basically the same as Internet Explorer, but it has some really nice features, including a popup blocker.

Or you could download the google toolbar. You can find the site here:

Or you can download a different browser called FireFox. Not all sites work on FireFox.

If you swap youre internet service proviedr to mozilla firefox it gives you one automatically and its great! Anothrer method is to go to control panel and find internet options... Inside it there will be a ab sayin g content, click it and then content advisor. Click this set your preferences and a password and even if pop up's appear it will need a pw to open them.

I use a pop up blocker from Yahoo!, which comes with a toolbar, and it works good. AIM also comes with a pop up blocker when you download it, which is also works good. They are both free also.
