ok sorry if this is long..
my parents have been getting on my last nerves lattely. i am the oldest in my family and so i got to put up witht hemm ebing soo over protect.. it iasnt because they care to much it is that they dont want me to have a life.. i can almost never leave the house.. if i want to go somewhere with a friend tot he mall my mom has to talk to there parents and make sure they are coming with us.. my best friend from new jersay came to vist and i havent seen her for 2 years and we qwanted to go and hang out at her place and just talk but no my mom wont let me.. my mom is always yellina t me when i dont do anything to her. she tells me to do something i do it with no questions asked.. i have a boyfriend who i ...

The new school year is coming very soon and I'm going into 9th grade (so is my friend)and we recently received our schedules. She really doesn't like school, and she says she has no friends in her classes, and we don't have any classes together except maybe lunch. And she's not looking forward to this year at all 'cause 7th and 8th grade sucked, and I'll agree on that. I just told her to try to look at school with a positive outlook. She won't listen and doesn't believe. I just don't know what to do. I really wish she would just try to enjoy her time even though it's school.
Does anyone know what I can do about her feeling this way? I've tried to help her, I just don't know what to say.

I am switching high schools and my friends seem to be splitting up, and sometimes i'll find out that they did something without me like go to the movies, and i know i wasn't busy that day and that they never even called to invite me. It seems that we never hang out unless i call and even then they aren't always there. They are my best friends and i love them so much, i never thought that we would ever not be close, but i realize that the longer that we're apart i know the more they will exclude me...what should i do

I just crashed my uncle's truck into this stupid stone wall, it got dented and the headlight is cracked. I don't know how to tell him, or my own parents. It's a really old truck, but that doesn't mean I can go breaking it. I'm really scared, I don't want to be punished for it. It was an accident after all. I know if it were my car, my parents would be more understanding but I know they're going to flip, atleast if my uncle doesn't murder me. How should I tell him what happened?

Okay, well I dated this boy back in February. Our relationship only lasted a week because he kissed someone else, and so did I. We got back together a couple days later, and that only lasted about 2 weeks. A month or so after, he got a new girlfriend and was with her for a month. After he broke it off with her, he started 'talking' to me again. However, it was then that he had to leave all summer on vacation, and I didn't get to talk to him for over a month. When my boyfriend & I started dating, naturally things were a bit weird at first. Then we became more comfortable around eachother & it started to seem like it was more about touching then talking. Now we talk on the phone more since we're back at school & don't get to go out as much. The day before yesterday, everything was fine & we were having a great time on the phone but yesterday he didn't call me. I texted him & we had fun texting back & fourth but then when I signed on he didn't IM me. I'm not sure if I'm overreacting (please don't be mean if I am, it's my first relationship). I'm hoping he's just overwhelmed by school because I really care about him & I would hate to think that I felt stronger about him ...

I really love to sing and my friends say I'm good. I don't think I am all that good though and I want to know some good ways to get better without taking voice lessons because I don't have a lot of money.
