I'm 18 and I was home schooled since 4th grade...
I was wondering what everyone on here thought about relationships, because I never went to public school and I've never really had a boyfriend before that has ever really worked out and I want some input...
I'm not sure what's okay and what's not. My friends boyfriends, in my opinion, were always not very good because when they were dating my friends (and some that are still together to this day) they will/would tell other girls like "hey sexy!" and "i love you too and I miss you too" like on their myspaces and stuff and through text messages. boyfriend's birthday!

Heyy my boyfriends birthday is in september and i pretty much have it all planned out.
I'm gonna give him a $50 gift card to Hollister (it's pretty much all he wears)
And i'm gonna get him some chocolate covered pretzles cause i know they're his favorite.
Then I want to take him to south street in philly cause it's his favorite place, and while there I can take him to go get a philly cheese steak cause that's his favorite food!
Do you think this sounds good?

Getting a guy to take a hint...

There's a guy that I've had my eye on. He's a drum major in my band...
Problem is, I've only "kinda sorta" known him for the past 2 years, and I haven't started liking him til now. I want him to notice because I think we might have a chance at something, but I don't know how to go about it without making it obvious. So far I say hi to him like every day when I see him- but he's always so busy since he's drum major and all. So we've never actually had a true conversation, just little bits and pieces of one. How do I get him to notice me?? He gets a lot of attention being in the position he is, so how can I make myself stand out without looking desparate? :)

I'm 16/female.
I have an amazing boyfriend with some serious trust issues! Every time I turn around he's moping around telling me not to ever talk to another guy, even if I don't even talk to them! Last year and now recently I've fallen hard for this one guy from Band. He's a total sweetie, but I have problems talking to him in person.
What do you think I should do?
I really don't know what exactly I need help with...
I just want to know if you were in the position, what would you do?

I am with a girl now that had cheated on her previous boyfriend with me and now i work a 3 week on 3 week off rotation which puts me out of state for weeks at a time and its been eating at me that she might be cheating on me while im away. what should i do? im lost.

This guy i like is in one of my classes and we talked for like a week over the summer but he ended up having to go do something so we couldn't talk anymore. I don't know if he still likes me or not but today in class he waved to me and said hi and we had a short convo. But i am SUPER shy and every time i talk to someone i'm comfortable around my stomach hurts and my voice is REALLY shaky. He came over to me and my friends to talk to us but he was mainly talking to my friends because i was just standing there not talking. I get really shy.

haha, my boyfriend well he really loves my butt (it's a kinda big),says so all the time. But he says some thing that are a little hurtful, like they don't hurt my feelings really I'm just not used to someone saying things like "You have a fat ass" or 'Damn, girl you have a nice big butt". haha, I remember once when I was sitting on his lap he was all 'Oh is my phone hurting you" I was like "Nope", he goes "Yeah, probably all that padding" he says it though, in a loving way. Its not rudly spoken.
I don't know what to think, it is a compliment right?

ok i been going out wit my boyfriend for a yr and 2 months.
but now he left to the dominican republic..nd everytime i call him he is never there.i dont know what to think,sometimes i think that he is just cheeting on me.because his brother got a myspace and he cheks it every 4 days,then why cant my boyfriend do that and ask why did i called or something..?

Describing the word love

I would really like people to explain to me, what you personally feel like love is. I'm not saying I'm in love, I just want to know what everyone thinks it is and how they describe it. I would like to know maybe stuff he does, or the way you feel, did it last? did you get hurt?
I know this sounds completely pointless, but everyone askes if their in love, I just want to know how other people see love through their eyes.

Okay so Saturday was Old Home Day, and I was hanging out with Becky,Steven,Abby,Emily,Kim,and Abbys lil brother. Well at the moment Beckys dating Steven but she doesnt like him, she just didnt want to hurt his feelings.Well we were all hanging out I guess I was flirting with Steven... Becky couldnt careless though so Im not worried about that. Ok so basically ive been at my job sense februray of this year. When i started working there, everyone told me my manager was gay, but something about him didnt seem gay at all. In the middle of May, I really became attracted to my friend Sean. I confided in one of my best friends about it, and she told me to tell him. Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 6 months now. And i love him to death. He just does so many things that upset me. I went on vacation and he went to the club, when he knows how i feel about that. He'll invite me over then drive his friends around untill 4:00 in the morning. He barelly ever says nice things about me or to me, but he comments on every other girl. He wont talk to me when im trying to have a serious conversation. He never calls me back when he says hes going too. But.. He does things i like. He can make me smile when im sad, i love the way he holds me, and watches movies with me. I love how he cute he is. But honestly i dont think im happy with him. I know i have to do whats best for me. But i really do love him and i cant let him go. What do i do. Please help me.
