Flap of skin in the way of the tampon!

Whenever I try to put in a tampon, it won't work because there seems to be this flap of skin just past the opening. Even if I use the smallest size. What do I do?

Okay well, this is just curiousity but.. condoms are only like 95-97% effective if they don't leak and are used properly.. but if they dont leak or anything like that how would you get pregnant if all the cum stays inside of the condom. like how is that other 3 or 5 percent a possibility

depressed?

sometimes, even if i'm having a good day and everything, i just feel depressed. i feel like no one likes me. then i think that i should get really skinny (why? i have no idea!) i just think... tomorrow i'm going to wake up at 5, run, exercise, and shower... (and stuff like that) and so i'd get really skinny... (weird, i know) and other times i *think* about sutting my wrists, i never have and i'm scared... so do i have a case of depression???

i'm 13 years old and i'm only 4'11. i only have like 2 years left to grow (yes i've had my period already) and i really want to be at least 5'1 or something. if i have to spend the rest of my life being under 5 feet, i'll hate it a lot. i know to some people it may not seem like such a big deal but it kind of is to me. my parents are normal height so i don't know whats wrong?? so how can i get taller? like what should i eat? vitamins? thanks

Well my friend is having her sweet 16 party and shes inviting all kinds of people are going to be there (including the kid i like who is one of my really good friends, and he knows i like him too) so anyways hes going to be there.. and so is the girl he likes and he seems to always leave me to go talk to her and he just kind of ignores me... any ideas on what to do? please help.. i hate high!

one of my best friends and my sister are in the marching band. so far i've been to almost all the competitions and football games to support them, well this weekend i wont be able to go so i was think i'd get a basket as a good-luck gift for them... besides writing them a note saying good-luck and everything, what can i give them? they aren't allowed to eat/drink anything besides water in their uniforms...

So I am going to start taking BC Pills and I was just wondering...
1. Will I gain or lose any weight or will my appetite increase/decrease? Is there any chance of that?
2. My friend was really PMSy when she started her pills. Was it because of the pills?
3. Can I get pregnant in the first week/two weeks of taking BCP?

Today we had to watch an "educational movie" in English and it was about drinking and driving. Well, the cop made a guy take the breathing test thing and on the machine it said, "please blow". My friend and I found that amusing so I decided to write "please blow" on his leg and draw an arrow pointing up (immature yeah, what high school kid isn't?). My teacher then came over and asked us what we were doing. I told him nothing and that I was just writing on my friends leg. He read what was written and wrote both of us up as a level 2 offence. i'm 13 and i started my period a few months ago. pads are really annoying and give me wedgies alot =/ plus smell bad so i want to start using tampons. so yesterday i tried about 7 times but i couldn't get it through! it just hurt so badly. and i read the instructions but they didn't make sense? please help how do i get it through? any tips? and is now a good time to be starting? thanks
