How do you know she likes you?

Me and this girl have been friends for a couple of years. We've talked on the phone and I gave her hints that I like her a lot. I wrote her a song on valentines day and remark her on her beauty. She doesn't really back away from me, usually. Until this year, I see her in the hallway, and she'll pretend that she doesn't see me. I'm afraid to talk to her because I think she'll reject or hate me. I really want to know if she likes me. If not, How do I get her to be at least my friend again. I am very patient with her as well. She's the type of girl who really doesn't know how to handle a relationship, so she doesn't call me, makes me do all the work. Sometimes I see her with another guy, the same guy. I still thinks she kind of likes me. I just want your opinion. Thanks!!!

I don't like who I am or What ive become....2 years ago I had gotten out of a really bad physically and emotionally abusive relationship....I was engaged at 18 with the guy I had lost my virginity to and found out he had cheated on me the entire 2 years we had been together! since I was 16! He treated me like shit, and I had to move out of his apartment and back in with my mom. He told me that he had cheated on me with numerous girls and that everytime he went to a party he hooked up with someone! And he went to ALOT of parties....I asked him how many girls and he said he lost track after 20. Boyfriend Hates Haunted Houses

I'm a Halloween baby, so I love haunted houses and everything that shows up around my birthday. My boyfriend (21), however, doesn't. It's not that he doesn't like haunted houses, it's that he has a tendency to knock out the people when they jump at you (reflex). He's a big guy and it tends to get him in trouble, but I really wanted him to come with me and my brother this year since my bro and I hit a bunch of them (trying to find the spookiest and such).
Any ideas how we could compromise here so I can get my boy to celebrate with me and not get hauled off for assault?

hello everyone, my fiance' and I got engaged this past summer because we do love each other. He proposed on the beach, but ALL we do is fight. so i broke up with this boy over a year ago, but I'm still in love with him...
ive tried asking him out a couple times, were close friends still and i have told him how i feel but he just doesnt have feelings for me anymore.
i moped around just thinking id be alone forever for a while, then i started dating again, but i always end up dumping them because i feel guilty for still loving my ex.

Alright, well i like this guy and we talk every night for an hour or 2 on the phone. This has been going on for about 2 weeks now. Well whenever my friends ask him about me and stuff, he tells them different things. Like, one day he told one friend that we are about to date, and then yesterday he told a dif. friend that he dosen't know. I'm (almost) 21 f, he's 23. Long story as short as I can make it, we dated officially for about nine months in '05-'06.
